They do? I am not seeing this on their policy positions among any Democrats. Which elected Democratic politician supports illegal immigration?

Their party platform from 2016 states that they want to give a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants that have followed the laws I'm the US.

Yes, so how is that supporting illegal immigration.  Also this is for the dreamers, you know children that are undocumented living in the US already.  I guess if you totally just dismiss the other parts of their platform on immigration then you can try to make a case but you would still be wrong.

This is what I am talking about.  Exactly where have you read that democrats what to bypass our current immigration laws.  Please provide the actual democrat that want this and not some right wing talking point or the President himself who just spout crap without any evidence to his claims.  Here are some articles I found on the issue.

I wonder if you have not fallen for an old political trick.

No I didn't. I've seen enough political ads here in California to form my own opinion. The only thing they're standing up for is the "immigrants regardless of status" meaning including illegal immigrants.

I've yet to see a democratic political ad here in my area that talks about reform and fairness in immigration policy.

If you are watching ads and forming your own theory then yes you have fallen for political tricks.  Ads used by all political parties are barely thinned white lies to support one or the other message.  The last thing I ever do is watch an ad then form some opinion.  I have seen Dems and Republicans play that game way to much.

As the links I have included show, there are absolutly no Dem that support open boarders.  They have consistently signed bills to support the boarder, law enforcement and agency toward illegal immigration not just at the boarder.  If you want to show how the Dems vote on such matters then that would be evidence.  If you are using ads to support your opinion then you have fallen for the trick whether you admit it or not.

Their platform does not only refer to dreamers but every illegal immigrant in the US that follows the laws. Given citezenship to those that come here illegally is supporting illegal immigration.

You are aware that seeking asylum is in no way illegal, correct? Like you have a fundamental understanding of the topic at hand?

I know that but there are still many immigrants that just cross the border. We should make it easier for refuges and asylum seekers since Latin and South America has become more dangerous over the years but just crossing the border is wrong.

That's the thing though, I watch a lot of CNN like the libtard cuck that I am and I have yet to hear a democrat say "open the borders." This talk of open borders, I don't know where people get that from.

Saw that video earlier today and it's interesting. Democrats are just using illegal immigrants to gain more votes but they used to be anti illegal immigration just over a decade ago.

Yes. That video is right on the money. If they didn't want the votes of illegal aliens then they wouldn't challenge every voter id law. What else could be their reason other than getting the votes of aliens to circumvent the democratic will of the American people.

Because minorities and poor are disproportionately affected by voter ID laws. Weird coincidence that having voter id laws are likely to help republican elections and they're the ones pushing for them all over the country.

You do know this isn't a new topic right.  This topic of giving a path to citizenship has been going on for a decade or better.  Not only that but Republicans have been in favor and out of favor to the ideal for years.  As for the Dems supporting all illegal immigrants well you actually have to look at the bills that were brought up in 2013 as it had very specific  measures and I believe took about 13 years to become a citizen.  The thing is, not all Republicans do not favor a path to citizenship.  If anything it has always been the how.

You should be happy about illegal immigration since it refreshes the genepool in your bible belt.

Well people from south of the border arguably do assimilate better in this country. Doesn't mean immigration shouldn't be merit based though.

But lets be honest, dems love this demo because they're easier to manipulate or naturally just lean left. Dems have grown very frustrated with whites, they have even attacked white for not supporting them more, I guess having expectations and expecting results from leaders is wrong. A district, city, or state with a high latin population is easy votes for dems.

Immigrants when/if they can vote, or the next generation tend to vote democrat. It also encourages people to vote democrat because it creates fear about throwing out illegals who have settled into the country.

There are certainly scenarios where illegals immigrants have voted illegally and they support democrats. That's is why there has been debate about voter IDs. Some cities are actually allowing illegals to vote in local elections, which means they're shaping communities in such a way only citizens should but its ignored because they support left wing causes.

Estimates say there are about 20 million illegals in the country, that's more people than most countries even have. Democrats don't much care though because its their base and want them treated the same as citizens. Most illegals are latin and helps them with that demo. Basically the way we handle immigration is antithetical to every other developed country.

So what you are saying is that the statement from the OP is incorrect, because it should refer to legal immigrant or children born in the US that has the right to vote? So why is illegal immigration an issue here at all?

I completely agree about voter ID being a requirement and every citizen should be in the voter rolls, you shouldn't have to register in order to be elgible to vote. But it would also be interesting to get some facts behind your statement about illegal immigrants being granted right to vote in local election. I'm not saying it's incorrect, just where that information comes from.

I'm saying dems found that illegal immigration eventually works in favor of their base. Less of an incentive for them to fix the problem.
