I saw it 30 minutes ago.(I didn't get spoiled!) I am still reeling from the information overload. All I will say is that Pirana Plant made me laugh. Never thought such a dumb character would make it in.

No. But when it comes to games and innovation they are hard as hell to beat. But we won't talk about hardware and Internet

So Sakurai was Thanos in disguise all along!!

My guess on the five DLC characters:

- XBC2 character: It's clear Sakurai wants a character from this game in Ultimate even though they haven't started any work on the DLC I'm pretty sure someone from the game will be in Ultimate.

- Virtua Fighter Character: Akira made it into ultimate as the representative for the series that was the first 3D fighter but only as an AT I can see someone from the series being picked out as a main character.

- Fire Emblem Three Houses Main Character: Really you don't think this will happen?

- Jin (Tekken): SEGA got Akira into the game I'm sure Namco could do the same with their iconic series as well.

- Dante (DMC): A bit hopeful tbh but it makes sense to go along with Bayonetta.

Not so bold prediction: The will be another character pass after this one.

Ultra Hopeful: Some SNK representation.

One might be Waluigi, so people can put their money where their mouth is.

I expect the same thing. If this Smash is expected to be supported, bought, and played over the next 3-5 years, I fully expect the DLC to continue for as long as it is profitable. Nintendo finally seems to be (reluctantly) joining the modern age and aren't spamming us with a new smash game every year so this works for me. 

I'd also be okay with an expansion pass for MarioKart 8 Deluxe. That's the best mariokart game but I'd send em another 30 bucks for another 16 tracks or something

It was fun collecting them. I am very dissapointed by this. Not sure about World of Light, but it feels less than subspace emissary

Wolf looks sick in Ultimate his forward tilt has more range than Marth.

Trophies are essentially what Spirits are now, just lazily copy-pasted Google images instead of 3D renders. We can assume there's no real cohesive flowing story like there was in Subspace given the random battle events at disconnected stages, so probably not nearly as many cutscenes either. Even Adventure mode in Melee had levels designed specifically for it like Mushroom Kingdom and that Zelda thing. This looks to just be a glorified Events mode.
