Pretty much my view on this and I am glad if it had to be anyone it was Kirby as well, Mario is overdone. 

He's obviously going to be DLC the base character selection was done before XBC was even out.

If they were going to have second Street Fighter character i'd rather have Chun-Li, Who the hell is Incineroar? And WTF on Piranha Plant, we are truly are at the bottom at the barrel with characters. And that guy translating for Sakurai, could he be less exciting to listen to

I had no interest in Ken so that really didn't get me particularly hyped...
Incineroar looks like a lot of fun but I honestly would have rather gotten Rowlet...
Piranha Plant will be my main...
Disappointed to see Spring Man as an assist trophy but happy that Arms got any representation at all, so I guess I can't complain...

The newcomers in this smash game have been bleh for me. Ken is an echo but eh the idea of Giovanni being an echo fighter interest me more. But really Incineroar over effing Blaziken? Who thought that was a good idea? And that Plant thing I don't care about either.

That's why I watch the UK Smash streams where they use subtitles instead of dubbing.

There is always the "WTF Character", and this time it was the Piranha Plant

Eh, pretty underwhelming. Are we really not getting a stage builder? Spirits wasn't worth blurring out, just looks like an over glorified and complicated Event mode with a shoehorned world map. Ken and Incineroar also do little for me, hopefully the DLC characters are more exciting. Definitely not a day 1 purchase for me then.
