Capcom has announced that it will be releasing a trio of classic Resident Evil games on Switch. Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4 are all on the way.

The company just confirmed via Twitter:

i have the games already :) Cant wait of the Resident Evil 2 Remake for PS4 in january. The game will be the best part for me (with RE4).

Capcom should in my opinion, take more care of their completely new games instead of publishing old ports again. And NEW IP's would be great *-*

It seems every generation console only players need to buy all old games over and over again on the newest platform. This remaster/port wave abuse is another reason I only own consoles for exclusive titles. I buy all multiplats only once on PC, and 10 years later the game still there and running better thanks to rig upgrade and free mods.

I am shocked it took them this long to port them. But i am not happy with Capcom and their bad physical support on the Switch, and i expect some shenanigans here too

So what's the catch, Capcom?

This is the second time today I see you entering a Switch thread and leading it to the PS4. How much do they pay you?

Can we expect RE2 Remake to also be available as a Cloud version in Japan ?

I'm surprised how long this took them.

I wouldn't be surprised if they released RE4 on Ouya, even though they promissed exclusivity to GC so many years ago.

Nice! It's great to see those 3 Resident Evil games coming to the Switch next year!
