After Trumps first election I'd of thought that everyone would know that polls are deeply flawed in todays climate.  Making an assumption based of anything gained from polling information is frankly ridiculous.

I don't think it'll be quite that long, but the gap between sequels has been slowly growing - 1 year from GTA3 to Vice City, then another 2 years to San Andreas, followed by a nearly 4-year gap to GTA4. Then, after a year to produce The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, it was 4 years until GTA5 showed up.

It does?  How so?  I mean gta3 was great and revolutionary but since then not so much so they’ve progressed fine with other devs since 2001

Elder scrolls is going to have a similar gap between main titles

Rockstar is putting so much effort to make their games richer/more robust that I believe there will be only one GTA/RDR per generation from now on. It takes time to build a really solid open world game.
