It's getting closer to being a possibility now. It will never be VR exclusive though. GTA 6 will come out for everything.
lol. What an amazing world we live in, you just can't make this stuff up. Either way, this is probably bs. I figure it'll release mid-way through the PS5's lifetime. 2022-2023 or so.

Would be awesme if it didn't have to be limited by the static screen and handcuff gamepad, but I understand the need to reach the widest audience possible.
Even watchng the RDR2 1st person footage has me hoping that they offer VR on PS5, like they offered 1st person on GTA5 for PS4 and XBO. Even without taking full advantage of VR and Advanced Control methods, RDR2 VR would be a massive leap over RDR2 Retro edition.
After playing Skyrim in VR going back to open world on the Gamepad and TV it is just not the same anymore. As I have said in the past, all I think about when Playing Horizon, Spider-Man, God of War, and Forza Horizon 4, is how much better they would be in VR. With every new VR game, and every new TV game, the gap just keeps getting wider.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Yeah Trump's holding GTA back, he's gonna build a wall around R* games lol, This dude's concern-trolling the potential political themes of a GTA game released during the Trump administration, and yet the vast majority of GTA games were released during the 8 years of the neo-conservative Bush administration. And if you go back and look at the GTA "controversies" during the PS2 era, most of the politicians who attacked the franchise for its violence and sexual content were on the Democratic side of the aisle, including then-Senator Hillary Clinton.
GTA games by presidential administrations:
Clinton - 2 - GTA & GTAII (3 if you count London 1969 separately)
Bush - 7 - GTAIII, Vice City, San Andreas, Advance, Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories, GTAIV
Obama - 2 - Chinatown Wars & GTAV
R* needs to get their sh!t together, we should be at least 2 games deeper into the series by now!
