I'm super bummed of ESVI being so far away....

Honestly, even as a fallout 4 fanboy (hey you up there^ fallout 4 > 3, fite me), I just can't get behind this game.

I actually agree with this, I really enjoyed Fallout 4, only actually got round to playing it earlier this year, but I put more time into it than I ever did with Fallout 3, also felt the urge to actually get the platinum trophy... I mean, I didn't get it, but I made manual saves and went back to get all the endings, and all I've got left to do is find the rest of the bobble heads and kill the supermutant thingies then I'll have it! I found the game really fun, especially building my own little colony too. I don't get why it gets so much hate, I just thought it was a better game overall, and if people say the story was bad or something, it's not as if Fallout 3's story was a masterpiece, lol.

Fallout 4 is better than Fallout 3 pretty much across the board and better than New Vegas in most areas.  It's definitely my favorite of the three.  The story isn't very good but, yeah, Fallout 3 didn't have much of a story and the story in New Vegas turned ridiculous at the halfway mark.  Beyond that, the gameplay in Fallout 4 is far, far better than the other two and the world itself is much more entertaining to explore.

As for Fallout 76, I'm still not sold on it myself by any means but the game world looks awesome.  The only thing I don't like in the videos I've watched is how you run across other players.  It's no big deal as far as playing the game goes, at least from what I've seen, but for me it would absolutely shatter any kind of immersion, which is part of the reason I like single-player games.  Even when I played MMOs, if someone came over to where I was grinding, I'd go somewhere else.

The game honestly ran better than I expected, for a beta, I had fun. Why are you talking about the multiplayer aspect of the game if you only played for an hour? You can't even do PVP before level 5. Seems to me like you were quick to judge. A lot of people who played it for the full 4 hours ( close to level 10 ) enjoyed it a lot and gave it positive feedback. It just needs some tweaks imo.

Fallout in general sucks.

Bethesda Fallout Sucks. Interplay/Black Isle Fallout is amazing. Obsidian Fallout is pretty good.

But yeah, no idea why any Fallout fan would have any sort of hope for 76. It won't even have modders able to fix all the shit that Bethesda is too lazy to patch themselves. It was a definitely 'no' for me pretty much from the initial announcement.

Yeah, Bethesda either never understood what Fallout is actually about, or they just didn't give a toss and went with reskinned Oblivion.

Is there any point I. This game is there anything like some type of lore to play through

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

Fallout 3 was amazing, new vegas very good but after that ho boy what a disappointment 4 was

Exactly how i feel, 3 is my favorite. New Vegas second. and 4 was meh, for me. I'm willing to give 76 a fair shot though. The less people that i have to run into the better. I'll avoid them as much as possible, as i did in the first Destiny game.

Me too.

3 Was fantastic, would lap up a remaster of that.

New Vegas I found harder to get into.

Fallout 4, that settlement stuff was just rubbish busy work and totally moved away from what's great about Fallout which is exploration. If they'd made the settlement stuff easier and less like Minecraft I think the game would have been much better for it.

Just not interested in 76, not a fan of MP games.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

I'll have to ask my friend what he thinks. I was put off by the initial idea of it. Fallout Minecraft Edition. :P What I enjoy from Bethesda Fallout and ES games is the mindless exploration, as that isn't really in this, it's not really for me from the get go.

Hmm, pie.

But what about the best part? The glitches of course. Nothing more fun than losing progress because you disappeared into the ground.

Losing progress? How? You don't even know the basic fundamentals of the game and yet here you are posting a cool dev letter and trying to make it look bad. And not to mention nothing even remotely close to what you described happened in the beta last night. So annoying how people hate on games without knowing a damn thing about them other than the title.
