Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Ready to purchase an XBOX ONE X!

Yay if you don't own a decent PC. All the games are coming to PC anyway and they run even better than on One X if you have a graphics card equivalent to a GTX 1060 or GTX 1070 or something.

If you don't already have a PC, go for the Xbox. Buying a PC right now isn't a good idea, hardware prices are nuts these days.

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

If you can find a good deal, yet you'll broaden your gaming horizons more with a good deal on psvr!

Nay. At this stage you might aswell hold out for a ps5 or the next xbox.

This is what went through my mind but I couldn't resist. This gen has been a roller coaster for me. I sold the S and broke even, sold the 4pro with VR and lost 150 and bought this used for 350 with an extra controller. It's in immaculate condition so I'm happy about that.

If you're wondering why I did it I can honestly say for one game. DoA6. I've been a Team Ninja fan for years and really they've kept me gaming for the most part. Now I'm hoping if Gaiden is announced, it comes to the box.

Thank you guys for the honest opinions!

I've never owned a decent setup. I'm primarily a console gamer but I would love to build one some day.

I've got one. It's my primary gaming device but if you're okay with the Xbox One S, I'd say you can live without it.

I was content with the S. My biggest gripe is the fact you can't play the games without an internet connection. I'm haven't felt the need to subscribe to an isp for years. I know how crazy that sounds...

Worse comes to worst, I'll just sell it for 300 when they announce the next console. $50 hits not so bad.

Anyways, depends if you're a hardcore gamer. Can't wait to play RDR2 and hopefully the rumors are true about 4k assets.

I can say from my own experience, I have regulated my PS4 Pro to exclusive duty which so far still is great from Sony end and the X1X for everything else. I am not sure if you really need an X but if you have the cash then go for it. There was an article that says you can get an X for 200 bones but I would have to look it up to see if it's legit. Might be one of those special case scenarios you have to give up your first born son or something like that.

I've seen it before but you have to trade in an Xbox one s to get one for 200 dollars. Which definitely helps if you got one.
