It's important they do cut the price though, so they can gain market share in poor regions around the world. And unlike ps3 expanding is more profitable because ps plus is required.

it used to be closer to 2:1 but lately it seems like its often close to 3:1

I don't know off hand how many times it happened, but the PS4/XBO 3:1 ratio was touched on a few times in 2017. Mostly during the slower months. I would guess it happened more in 2017 than in 2018 tbh.

NS up, PS4 down, but still first by almost 60k margin, little changes for the others, all far behind the top two, although it must be said that 3DS sales are good for its age and considering internal competition by NS.

Did anyone really doubt that, nothing really has come close to the PS4 thus far. It might have lost a NDP here and there but worldwide it reigns supreme for a long time.
