Nintendo. The rest are going to be steamrolled, I feel bad for Ensemble Studios.

Nintendo easily, it's almost a no contest. Just see  Gamerankings.com top ten. They own every one with their Zelda and Mario games. 

This seems a little unfair.

Some here are singular studios, many of which have perished.

Yet Nintendo is there while HAL is as well.
As opposed to most of the others on the poll, Nintendo is a publisher, and one that publishes for many entities, including the (vast majority of the) games that HAL makes.

It would have been nice to see Nintendo seperated out into the different in-house divisions.
Many have seen closure or restructure over the years, and certainly something like EAD, which was dismantled in 2015 after 26 years, held a legendary status of its own.

Sorry but having Nintendo on the list is nonsense unless we try to at least break them into internal studios. Zelda, Mario and Pokemon company will win everything especially here in this forum.

Or, let's say Nintendo is the winner and we make a competition to find the second one. That'd make more sense than this tournament.

Nintendo is a publisher. They have many development teams working on different games. Stating Nintendo as a publisher would be like stating Ubisoft as one.

And we'd end up with a Top 10 full of Nintendo. People would be thrilled!

I voted for Arkane, in spite of their low level of output. Dishonored, and it's dlc, was huge for me. Huge!

Polyphony Digital takes the spot here. Gran Turismo 6 is the best sim racing game ever made and GT Sport is the best sim racing game this gen. Gran Turismo started the sim racing genre and became the best selling PlayStation exclusive series and spawned Microsoft's biggest Xbox exclusive series, Forza because of it. It also has lead to dozens of sim racing games on PC and consoles and its among the most important series in the history of games.

I know Nintendo has had a bigger impact on the gaming industry and have existed for a longer time but most of their games just aren't that good. Their key games are amazing, like Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey but the rest of their Switch games, new and Wii U ports are meh at best. They are still the 2nd best devs here because Breath of the Wild was fucking fantastic and Super Mario Odyssey is my favourite platformer.

Arkane has had potential but they didn't reach it. I played Dishonored and couldn't get into it because of first person perspective and point of view. I appreciate the gameplay and design and its atmospheric, but I can't get immersed because of those points mentioned. They are still third because they have potential to make the Dark Souls of a genre if they embraced third person perspective.
