Forums - Gaming Discussion - What is the Last Game You Want to Play Before You Die?

If you knew you were dying with no chance of recovery and had time just to play through one game which game would you choose?

Rules:

  • If it is a story driven game with a plot/campaign and such you can play as long as it takes to complete the main story. No 100% or side missions.
  • All other games such as fighters, racers, MMO, or multiplayer focused game you have exactly 50 hours to play before dying.
Personally, I would choose Super Mario Galaxy. The game is long but not too long and it is enjoyable throughout. It is such an optimistic and happy time that I would be glad to have it be the last game I ever played.
Runnerup would be The Last of Us but it is just too depressing.
How about you?

Half-Life 3

Love and tolerate.

I can't really decide, but probably some iteration of Mario Party/Kart/Super Smash Brothers - on the one condition that I get to play it with friends. That way I can be reminded of a time when I was happy.

I'd replay my favorite game, of course. Pikmin 2.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Persona 69.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I would either play Legend of Zelda (NES) or Final Fantasy 7, depending on what I was dying of.

I'd play my favorite game ever since it just feels right. Welp, Skyward Sword it is, unless a better Zelda game comes out someday (Doubtful).

Edit: I hope no one picks To the Moon, man would that be a depressing send-off.

Criminal Girls on the Vita, uncensored and localized, while I burn my feet with candles.

Burnout 3: Takedown.

The closest a video game has ever come to pure bliss, in my opinion.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Crusader kings 3 with all DLC ^^
