As a divorced father who has actually gone through the system and seen how it works:

Stick to topics you actually know about. You don't pay child support because kids think you're the dad. If you're not on the birth certificate and haven't gone through the trouble of legally adopting the child, you're not paying child support.

Here are multiple cases and discussions on both kids viewing you as the father or the single mother listing your name on social benefits.

https://family-law.freeadvice.com/family-law/child_support/Child-Support-for-a-Child-That-Is-Not-Mine.htm (child by consent section)

"Laws favor someone being named the father because they do not want a child going through life fatherless. The equitable doctrine of estoppel applies to persons who have for all practical purposes consented to being dad, regardless of paternity. The basic theory is that since you acted like a parent and permitted the child to believe you were their father, the child now has a right to rely on your representation that you are their father. "

Here you go, bucko. The moral of the story? Stay away from single mothers.

Literally every story you posted involves the biological father not being listed on the birth certificate (one even listing the non-biological father), resulting in a default to the husband.

It's got nothing to do with dating single mothers and everything to do with not marrying someone with children who don't have father on their birth certificates (some states even specify that you must be married when the child is born to be stuck with child support).

Quit Google searching clickbait titles and do your research. Dating women with children won't suddenly get you child support.

First, how are these clickbait titles, when it is all documented? Second, did you not see the last link with a quote?

There's nothing wrong with someone not wanting to date someone who has kids

or someone who has Snakes

Or someone called Alchy (:

If you require alcohol to have fun, then you have a problem

Also if they're not American. I only date people with the same nationality as me.

But.... why?
Sounds like a boring way to limit yourself.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Wonderful, post of the year right there!

Why is that? I'm genuinely curious. :o

The last month and a half I've spent in college and I've been exposed to lots of international students and they're culture just doesn't feel the same like American culture which is what I'm used to.

lol, that's exatly the reason that would make me feel more exited/intrigued by them.

I mean, I like Swedish culture, but interesting cultural differences would only make a relationship more fun.

It's clickbait because of the titles and the intentional lack of information detailing why they got stuck with Child Support.

And you can quote that all you want, but that law is only going to be applied to children with no father on the birth certificate when you were married the mother. So again: stick with stuff you actually know.

I literally quoted evidence and facts. If you can't handle it, I don't know what to tell you.

You posted half-stories and quoted a section of law out of context. Dating single mothers won't get you child support under any circumstances that involve someone else being on the birth certificate. Stick to what you know.

Overly judgemental, I hate when people know how you should live your life better than you.

If she's a conformist just looking for someone to marry to and support her financially, nothing wrong with that, but I'd like an independent partner.

Bad musical taste... I just couldn't stand that.

Having kids, complaining, talking about past relationships. Among others.
