Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Huawei Claim their Phone is Better Than Switch

But does it have 8GB of ram and a native 1080p display? Das all that matters

At making phone calls sure. But who cares. Can’t play Zelda though, in that even a PC (emulation doesn’t count obviously) isn’t better than the Switch.

Can it play Smash Ultimate though

It probably is better in every way except for the games you can play on it.

It's almost double the price of a Switch so it damn well better.

*Triple

So much power with no games to show it

1000$ for a device that essentially plays android games. Oh and emulators of course, cause there aren't hundreds of (cheaper) devices that can do that already of course.

Like many others, Huawei is misleading consumers here. This has no games of its own, and the Android library is mostly designed for touch screens and not traditional controls. Expect bad compatibility, graphics geared for older phones that do not make the most of the device, and inferior versions of (any, if any) multiplatform games.

Better than the Switch at what?

A more up to date chipset? Sure, but that doesn't exactly mean anything important as there are a great many electronics with more up to date chipsets that aren't great. This is not the compelling sales point of the Switch, it's the features and content - and not costing several thousand for service and hardware alone.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Doesn't really matter how powerful this thing is if it doesn't have the games.
