Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Predict 2019 Release Schedule for Switch Exclusives

2019 is looking to be a great year for the Nintendo Switch, with plenty of exclusive titles coming out for the system.

Confirmed Release Date:

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (January 11th, 2019)

Travis Strike Again: No More Heroes (January 18th, 2019)

Confirmed Release Season:

Fire Emblem: Three Houses (Spring 2019)

Yoshi's Crafted World (Spring 2019)

Confirmed Release Year:

Daemon X Machina

Town

Luigi's Mansion 3

Animal Crossing

Pokemon 2019

Unconfirmed Release Year:

Bayonetta 3

Metroid Prime 4

Shin Megami Tensei V

(You don't have to put these titles into your release schedule prediction, obviously)

With that being said, what do you predict will be the release schedule for 2019?

I am not putting Metroid or Bayonetta 3 because I have no clue when those two started development. Anyway...
January - NSMBWiiU
February - Nothing Important
March - Fire Emblem
April - Animal Crossing
May - Yoshi
June - Town
July - Daemon X Machina
August - Something unannounced
September - Something unannounced
October - Luigi's Mansion
November - Pokemon
December - Nothing. Well maybe an RPG from Monolith Soft. #Xenoblade X port

Honestly if Bayo 3 and Metroid come this year. My guess is that Metroid will be September and Bayo will be August. Also, Shin Megami Tensei V is not coming this year. That's a 2020 or 2021 title Atlus is like Square. They announce games way too early.

Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true

January - New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes
February - Nothing special
March - Yoshi's Crafted World
April - Nintendo Labo + Wii or WiiU port
May - Fire Emblem: Three Houses
June - Town + Daemon X Machina
July - Wii/WiiU port
August - unannounced game
September - Luigi's Mansion 3 and new Nintendo Labo
October - unannounced game
November - Pokémon Gen 8
December - Animal Crossing

I think we will see The Legend of Zelda port or TLoZ 2D in 2019.

I'll try my hand at this, even though I know some of my predictions are unrealistic.

January - New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes
February - Nothing
March - Nothing
April - Daemon X Machina, Yoshi's Crafted World (although I could see a late March release as well, but I think they may want to distance it from New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe even further)
May - Fire Emblem: Three Houses
June - Town
July - Animal Crossing (most unrealistic prediction by far, late July if so)
August - Nothing
September - Nothing
October - Luigi's Mansion 3
November - Pokemon Gen 8
December - Nothing
I want to predict Bayonetta 3 next year ...  but that might be too unrealistic.

Animal Crossing in March? Yoshi and Fire Emblem in the same month?? Metroid Prime 4 in SEPTEMBER?!??!

Well ... You're certainly optimistic

(I do agree we will probably get at least one "surprise" next year, whether it's a port or not)

I hope Daemon x Machina is in january. I need that game asap.

Is that really all Switch has coming for the foreseeable future? cause that shit looks weak AF.

Are you kidding me?  That 2019 line up looks amazing!  Regardless of if you like it or not, these exclusives pooled together will move units, especially if Prime 4 and Bayo 3 make the 2019 cut.
