Almost never 2 2.33%

1-3 times per month 1 1.16%

Weekly 1 1.16%

2-3 times per week 3 3.49%

daily, or close to it 29 33.72%

A couple of times per day 34 39.53%

I obsessively check VGC a... 16 18.60%

Total:86

I visit quite often. Multiple times per day. My daily routine consists of PS Blog, Vgchartz and then N4G to try to get all the latest and greatest news and conversation of video game topics I care about. When it's slow then I resort to YouTube.

I login pretty much every day but most topics don't interest me due to all of the annoying political threads. This site used to be an escape for me but now... well it is what it is. It's been a rough year and my anxiety has been in overdrive so I'm mostly lurking.

Yeah i also feel less relaxed than i was before when visiting this site because the American split political climate has forced itself in here since the elections or so it seems.

We should try our best to find things to agree on instead of focusing on the bad and think others are evil because a perception of something is different, most people are played by media, some tend to behave like tools, but also most are just good people that want to think and do good.

In my opinion, the political stuff should be eliminated.   This is a video game site. There are literally thousands of places to discuss and argue about politics on the internet. This doesn't need to be one of them. I think it was very significantly negatively impacts my experience with this website.

I don't mean that nobody can ever make a political comment. But, the fact that we have a politics Forum on here is nonsensical in my opinion.

Lurked for 2 or 3 years before signing up in 2014. I used to be on several times a day during work, but I've gotten busier there and now I check in every month or two. Things also seem to have gotten stale so my interest in the site has waned. Truth be told I wouldn't have been on today if mZuzek hadn't mentioned in discord he was doing something here last night.

Yeah, I was working on that thread, of course. Why don't you sign up? It's a great place to have some lighthearted discussion about games, which is something this place has been rather devoid of lately.

I just don't visit the site enough these days.  I was all excited for the great Marvel re-watch leading up to infinity War and barely participated in that. I even let the Splatoon 2 thread die, no one has posted in it since late July and my last post was in mid July.

I've been coming here a few times a day for the last year or so. Prior to that I was here pobably once or twice maybe 4 or 5 days a week. I joined in 2016, but had been lurking for a couple of years before that. During my lurking time, I would say I was in here a couple of times per week.

Like Coktoe mentioned above, this is my most visited website since I took the Facebook app off my phone as well.

I think you would lose more people if you cut that out.  Don't like the discussions then don't participate, but to take it away from those that do seems selfish.  Just my 2 cents.

I don't disagree with you. Certainly, one is free to not participate in the political discussion, just as their free to not participate in any other discussion on this site.   But, if one is interested in politics, it can sometimes be hard to avoid clicking on some of this stuff when the provocative headlines are sitting right in there with all the video game discussion.

I am somewhat interested in politics. I think I do a decent job of staying out of the discussions on here, because most of it is totally ridiculous. but, my track record of staying out of it as far less than perfect. And that's nobody's fault but my own. Nevertheless, the fact that this political discussion takes place in the forms here does negatively impact my enjoyment of the website. I'm sure I'm not the only one in that boat.

With that said, I'm certainly not going to start any serious lobbying effort to eliminate the political discussion for him. But, if I had a magic wand, I'd get that shit out of here.

Everyday, though i pretty much only look at the front page. That's also as far as my forum browsing goes. Whatever is in Hot Topics, is all that i see.

I did a lot more in the past, but it seems like the threads are increasingly focused on politics and/or current events.

To be fair, the video game world is low on news atm... I imagine it will pick up when the next gen start getting revealed.

If it wasn't such a weak year for Switch I'd imagine it would be more interesting ...

Next year PS5/Xbox Two info leaks, Switch Mini, Pokemon 2019 ... :o!!

Ok...I've made the first step in my transition to a new VGC. I've removed the Politics discussions from my Hot Topics. There is a slightly political discussion showing up because it is listed as General Discussion. What are the paramaters for General Discussion? Maybe I should omit that one as well.
