1. Are you saying south Americans were not Native Americans?

Cherokee aren’t South Americans though, isn’t that what she claimed her heritage was?

Yes, Cherokee is what she's said. But apparently it's all the same to SpokenTruth?

Further, Trump said "Indian".  He never said Cherokee.

"We will take that little [DNA] kit, but we have to do it gently. Because we’re in the #MeToo generation so we have to be very gentle. And we will very gently take that kit and we will slowly toss it, hoping it doesn’t injure her arm even though it only weighs probably two ounces. And we will say: I will give you a million dollars, paid for by Trump, to your favorite charity, if you take the test and it shows you’re an Indian."

Well, yeah, but you're not saying that the test shows she's an Indian/Native American, surely? I mean ... I think Trump's pretty dreadful so I have no motive at all to find for him over this, but Warren cannot pass for being anything other than White on the strength of that DNA test. For all anyone cares about the issue, the President was right ... she was ridiculous to make the claim and now she looks even more ridiculous for trying to prove that she was telling the truth.

Say what you want about Trump but he has great instincts when it comes to finding ways to wound his political opponents.

1. Would that really make a difference whether it were Cherokee or Andean?

2. While she said her family talked of Cherokee heritage, her main point was Native American heritage.

3. That said, if her family had talked to her of their heritage, what exactly is supposed to say when asked about it?  No?  All she has ever stated was that her family spoke of it.  She never claimed Cherokee citizenship nor listed Native American on any enrollment, registration or employment documents.

1. Yes? I mean, if I claimed to be Japanese and ended up being Vietnamese I would think that would not be the same thing.

2. That’s not what was said in the interview. And she even said she had “no doubts”. W/c is strange because wouldn’t you at least have something physical that ties you into your heritage somehow before you went about believing it? I mean I got at least some pictures of my grandparents (who are 100% chinese). One would think someone who would claim to be something on an interview where everyone would see her would declare something as being undoubtably true, should have at least have done a little bit of research on her heritage at one point of her life. Don’t you find this a little iffy?

3. Question: is that what she is saying right now? Is that what you are saying? I’m having trouble pinning down what everyone is trying to say here. I’m fine with her retracting her claim and simply admitting that her family told her so, but I have trouble swallowing that someone like her would make those kinds of declarations (and claiming that she had no doubts) on camera without first trying to see if she those claims were true. I mean I would assume those are the kind of mistakes Trump (at his absolute dumbest) would make.

4. I’m not sure “South Americans being technically Indian by defintion so she technically wins the bet even tho her test shows that she may be related to a completely different type of Indian as she claimed to be and is at the same level of heritage as the common white American” captures the spirit of what the bet was about. Let’s be real here. Has this all sunk to simply trying to “gotcha” Trump with a technicality thru semantic games?

You have to be joking here, right? Are you actually saying it's all the same?

Would it make a difference if he paid in Monopoly money? While he said a million dollars, he never stated what currency he would use, so the point would be that the charity receives currency in some format.

Hmm.  That's an interesting point.  Now I'm thinking he should send $976.56 to the Cherokee Nation, then the rest of the million to her in Monopoly money.

Pfff lol. 1024th. That would actually be hilarious, and genius. Except I have to disagree with sending Warren herself anything. You can almost bet the next day the news will have a source who says it was a bribe or that he was paying for female 'services' again.
