Forums - Gaming Discussion - Black Ops 4 is the Highest Reviewed Call of Duty Since MW3.

Kind of surprised for the lack of reviews. It's now been out a full day hasn't it? And it had a full beta for the BR mode did it not? It's not like there's a story campaign to get through either, so it should be a relatively easy thing to review.

Honestly the Battle Royale mode looked really fun, its actually the only one in that genre that i want to play.

Im glad this and A.C. are both getting good reviews.  I think they both get a lot of hate just because it has become the cool thing to do.  And usually the people who hate on them are quick to praise other franchises for doing the very same thing they claim to hate on these two.

I've been playing a lot and the good reviews are well deserved, haven't had this much fun in COD in ages. The servers took it pretty well yesterday, nothing too serious. Props to them for having a smooth launch.

Only part that really interests me is Blackout, and I can't see myself spending $60+ for it.

I think BO4 has been lucky in that regard - it did get a lot of hate at first when it was announced that the single-player mode was getting chopped, but then the whole controversy around Battlefield V caused people to either forget that issue, or in a few cases even proclaim that they were going to buy BO4 simply as a means of sticking two fingers up at EA.

Jesus mw2 reviewed well. Over on vizioneck i predicted an 88 for black ops 4.

Zombies easter eggs weren't switched on until yesterday. These reviews are pretty superficial, they haven't played the game to their fullest. This game is absolutely amazing even then but wait for the actual reviews coming out after the weekend.

seems they have done a great job

Excellent, hope it does well in sales too. The "no campaign" brigade is mostly white-noise. CoD has been all about the multiplayer for years.

Probably won't be buying it myself though, was going to, but now the times come I just don't feel like it.
