OK, you're the 2nd person I've seen post how racist liberals are so I've decided to put my 2 cents in. It's like this. Liberals say racist sh!t sometimes. Most of the time they say it they think they're helping but they're not. From Joe Biden's "Obama is clean and articulate" to the numerous liberals I've had challenge my blackness because I don't always see racism where they see it nor do I think every black person should vote Democrat. But... BUT! How can you say "leftists are the most racist people I've ever seen" when there's Richard Spencer, Neo-Nazis, etc? Nearly every overtly racist organization aligns with the right. Spencer and his ilk sat in a room throwing up the Nazi salute and audible said "Heil Trump!"

Look, there are no leftist groups who fly rebel flags and Swastikas. None of the groups who do these things are "woke". Nope! They all align with the right. These folks will antagonize blacks, Hispanics, and other minority groups and yell "TRUMP!!!" as if to say that's why they're doing what they're doing. And no I don't think being conservative makes one racist. Nor do I think voting for Donald Trump makes one racist. But don't look at some guys on YouTube and think they're the sum of all things. Furthermore, as much as I dislike identity politics (although sometimes justified), it seems some folks will only condemn it when it's not coming from their team.

Here's a conversation I've had with the cousin of my ex-wife. He dislikes Colin Kaepernick because he says Kap engages in identity politics. I love Kap because I'm a Niners fan and he was good for us. But I don't think we're "oppressed" like he seems to think we are. However, I asked my buddy why he can condemn Kap's identity politics but never has a disparaging word for folks who call whites "supreme" or those who spew fear that America is browning. My buddy's answer was "I just ignore those people. They don't deserve my time." Hold on, so you can destroy a guy who thinks blacks are oppressed because you think he's full of crap, yet the other people you believe are full of crap don't get the same treatment? Why's that? It's because, in the end, the other guys play for the same team as you do. I liken it to how good cops don't snitch on bad cops. It's because, in the end, they're both still cops. But that's a story for another day. Anyway, feel free to disagree. I don't go apesh!t when I'm disagreed with because in my 36 years I've come to realize that no 2 people will agree everything. Unless the other person is who you see in the mirror. Peace!
