Ironic that Sony has made a ton of great films and tends to have an oscar nominated film nearly every year....but hey I wouldnt expect people here to know what they are talking about..... all people seem to watch are blockbusters and mcu films

I think I'll do what I did with Venom and see the movie for myself before I judge it. I ended up enjoying Venom quite a bit; Didn't find it on the level of an MCU movie, but not nearly as bad as overall review scores suggested.

It's a bit hard to make a sequel as a R18 when venom was PG 13.

The lower the budget, the less interference at sony. That's why many movies they release are good. They're just far smaller. The direction with their blockbusters most of the time I don't agree with

PS4 will sell 25 million units before 31st of March!

Edit: I didn't state what year! HAHA, so I'm still right in some sense

The AVP sequel (Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem) was R when the first film was PG-13.

It's not like Venom is any good or making money. It only made a pathetic 300 million in 10 days with an atrocious audience rating of 89% and a B+. Before the movie was revealed everyone said Venom without Spiderman would be impossible and they were right.

Yeah, Sony should give the Venom and Carnage IP back to Disney so Disney can have a monopoly and so Marvel can make it R rated and gory. Marvel has a great track record with R rated horror movies. It would be awesome to see Carnage ripping out people's intestines while Captain America and Spiderman watch in shock. Marvel would totally allow it if enough internet nerds attack them on social media and ambush them in airport restrooms.

Sure, I mean why not make a Teen-rated Deadpool or Punisher game while they're at it to rake in more money or a PG-13 Nightmare on Elm Street for that matter?

Oh yes, because this wouldn't be doing the characters/franchises a disservice at all, and yes, they are basically the same thing. There's no goddamn way Carnage will work with anything less than an R, fucking A.

They did say they'll let Deadpool be R-rated in the MCU BTW.

people here praised black panther... which was despite good action scenes the most mediocre movie i've seen in a long time, so i'll reserve my judgement

Gold post.

How ironic that someone is crying because there isn't enough violence.
