If you actually were watching the brawl, Conor swung on Khabib's guy first. Then he got punched. He brought the whole thing  onto himself. That's why he refused to press charges.

He was fine no one went to the hospital.

The whole thing started when khabib jump onto his team. One of khabibs team was already in the octogon giving him shit. The brawl was 100% instigated by team khabib. And the funny part is dillian danis actually smashed khabib and he quickly back off him.

If khabib struggled at times to take mcgregor down 8 really couldn't see him doing it to danis who is bigger and far better at that sort of thing.

After watching the video several times, no such thing happened.

before that happened, conor punched a kabib member climbing the fence

I haven't rewatched the whole melee, but there was ANOTHER Khabib team member climbing the fence to get inside the cage, and Conor swung on him too? Ok, well I obviously need to see that before I can comment on it. I'll look at it when I get the chance.

Regardless Conor has a history of doing stupid shit like this.

He busted a woman's face open with an energy drink he threw during the Diaz conference.

He jumped the cage after a fight and tried to attack Jose Aldo.

Jumped into the cage during a Bellator fight and attacked the ref.

Of course the bus incident.

Then on top that calling Khabib and his whole team terrorists and shiting on his country/religion.

He is a prick, and got what was coming to him.

I'm not an UFC fan but what Khabib said in is post-fight conference made me like him a lot. Clowns like McGregor may be entertaining to watch for some people, but I just can't respect these type of trash-talking thugs.

McGregor is a joke. I kicked his ass in God of War... Even Floyd Mayweather beat him..and I don't like Mayweather.

You serious? Even mayweather beat him? Hello? You do realise mayweather is the greatest boxer of his generation and mcgregor put up a respectable show in his first ever pro boxing fight.

Watch a different video then because he clearly avoided khabibs flying kick, caught him with a hard punch and pushed him to the ground. Khabib then scrambled behind security and his buddy took a pot shot at dannis.

You are not looking at the bigger picture. Diaz stormed into his press conference with about 20 guys and started throwing bottles at mcgregors team including his girlfriend. One of the bottles even hit his coaches girlfriend. You make it sound like mcgregor threw the bottles at khabib for no reason. It was all instigated by diaz.

He jumped the cage and shouted in aldos face. He in no way tried to attack him and if he wanted could have thrown a punch. Aldo turned and smiled to the camera just moments after. Insanely ridiculous to compare the two. Aldo was there watching the fight as he knew mcgregor was his next opponent. Mcgregor got the ball rolling on the promotion.

The bus incident was mcgregor retaliating for khabib a few days earlier cornering his friend artem when he was alone with 6 of his buddies. He also slapped artem. Mcgregor was in the wrong but again you make it sound like he did it for no reason and that khabib was innocent.

Your last point yes he was very disrespectful but he only called his manager a terrorist snitch which is actually true. Khabibs manager was part of a jihadi cell and the fbi caught him but made him a protected informant in return for snitching on the cell.

Now khabib for years was calling mcgregor a chicken and other disrespectful insults. He slapped his team mate and insulted irish fans and ireland regularly. Mcgregor is no better but let's not act like khabib is above all the pre fight trash talk. Now one thing mcgregor is above and that's the post fight antics. No matter how heated the pre fight antics and whether he won or lost mcgregor was always humble and respectful. Khabib let himself down massively in this regard.

I saw the match, and I was not impressed at all. Conor is slowly fading, and never been very good in the fight on the ground. Khabib was trying at any chance to avoid normal boxing or knocking, he just wanted to grab connor on ground, all the time. So boring match, I didn't like at all.
The final fight outside the ring was the only fun thing about that match.

i watched enough videos, nothing hard was really landed on both sides, nothing show a solid punch to the face, and security swarmed the scene within seconds. khabib would destroy that dude in a real fight.

This changed my stance somewhat, now I kinda feel bad for demonizing the guys who attacked Conor. I liked how Zubaira passed by Conor as if to confirm what happened first before coming back to attack him. The scary thing is nobody would have believed them if no video was taken from that angle.

Nevertheless, what Khabib did was idiotic, and two wrongs never make a right.

Dillon is all of a sudden the greatest MMA fighter of all time based on a few seconds of chaos. The desperation is real

Exactly.

Desperation? Show a bit of class buddy. I've been a long time mcgregor fan but I've been a fan of the ufc since long before him. Guys like khabib or diaz who beat mcgregor I've like since the start so it's no big deal to me seeing them win.

Mcgregor has was the first to ever be a champion of 2 different divisions and one of only a few to ever do it period. Not only that but the man made more off the khabib loss then the entire ufc roster combined for 2018. He may have been exhausted but he took very little damage compared to most ufc fighters in getting beat. 100m for a boxing match with mayweather. Again the ref stopped it before he suffered major damage.

My point is mcgregor is making bank without becoming a vegetable. He's a winner in all of this whether he wins or loses. Obviously khabib is a winner too. Both financially and in terms of legacy which is important to him.

As mcgregor said his legacy was set in stone the moment he won his second belt. He's lost 4 times before khabib. Don't worry he'll be OK and his fans who are also genuine ufc fans and not just fanboys will be OK too. Talking about Desperation just makes yourself look a little strange.

Exactly.

But what's a real fight? In a real fight kabib takes a hell of a lot more damage trying to take people down. You can punch and elbow the back of their head. Bite and headbutt in a real fight. He wouldn't take dillon down who is a master of jujitsu and also bigger then khabib.

Regardless of whether he could or not let's not act like khabib actually did anything to danis. The intent to hurt him was there but danis defended himself adequately.

most real fights end up in grappling all those things you mentioned wouldn't change a thing, except help the stronger grappler. if you try to elbo in the back the head you will just be taking down faster because you need both hands at full power to stop the take down.of course he would take dillon down, dillon is just a coach, he doesn't train like a ufc fighter or have the fighting experience ufc fighters have, he would get destroyed.

as for the part saying he defended himself adequately is laughable, he defended himself for 5 seconds or less.

Relax "buddy" that wasn't directed at you personally. You're repeating the same rhetoric some media outlets and salty McGregor fanboys (like Dillon) are spreading; making a big deal out of a few seconds of nothing, and attempting to sell it as "Dillon smashing Khabib and making him back off"

I'm not interested in all of the irrelevant stuff you're saying. Go tell that to an active McGregor hater, which I'm not, I generally like the guy.

I'm just pointing out facts. If fanboys and media outlets point them out also it doesn't make them any less right. Khabib fanboys and mcgregor haters are going on like he took out mcgregors whole team. He had a quick 5 second duel with danis and got fucked up. Whether he beats him on the street or in the cage is irrelevant. He didn't get the better of Denis on this occasion. https://www.facebook.com/734989616564617/posts/2078030985593800/

@rick

I don't think you know how a street fight works. If he hugs somebody's leg like he did to mcgregor to try take them down on the street, the back of his head will get elbowed until he has brain damage. Ufc rules greatly protect wrestlers from strikers. If he hugged mcgregor on the street like he did that first round his ear is getting bit off.

There is a reason fighters like khabib wrestle the fuck out of people until they gas out. That reason being they know they can't stand and bang from the get go. On the street a man's first with no glove on will do a hell of a lot more damage. As I said, the rules of the ufc greatly favour fighters with styles like cormier, khabib, gsp and Damien maia.
