So much for the ''we dont want our players to play with others'' stance by Sony. This is a good thing at the end of the day, glad to see Sony listened.

I'm sure its not about Sony listening but more about they were able to make this advantageous to them.

Its just a smart PR move to save face. It's a good one. Now you're the #1 video game company in sales and you ''listen to the fans''. Now competition has nothing to hold over you. Its a good PR move,but also its a good thing for fans too.

Aye, I don't really benefit from crossplay that much either, but gotta think about more than just considering myself with the overall picture. Now we just need square/microsoft to strike a deal for FFXIV to be on XB1, so we can have PS4/PC/XB1 crossplay like the xbox 360/ps2/pc days of FFXI
