Many people have made this comment before. Possibly even trucks in the past.

Haha great reply. Me and my buddies clean up on call of duty. Especially cod4 remastered. Destroy lobbies. And not verbally, just plain old killing. Beast mode activated.

And guess what happens, as soon as we start beating them they quit. If anybody ever beats us we see it as a challenge and won't leave until we get a win. I suppose you are right, today's gamer can't handle the heat.

There's literally a feature that allows you to either turnoff the chat or only see team chat. Then there's a mute option. So why do they leave it on if they can't handle the heat?

I'd say 1 in 2 or 3 games if I make a bad attempt to save my random team mate will sarcastically say "what a save". So this is very common.

The other day I was playing with a guy and he missed a save so I said it sarcastically but only once. I didn't spam it. So he just stops and types play by yourself the. So he drives around in circles for the next 5 mins while I play, occasionally crying in the chat about how annoying I am. I score 5 goals and we lose 6 5.

So this dude clearly has issues. Why does he leave the chat on? Is he trying to trigger himself?

People shouldn't have to turn off mics because they're finding one person toxic so instead they'll just report you to remove the person as a factor instead of being forced to turn their mics off.

This is nothing to do with mics. This is all over the text chat in the game. It's up the top left of the screen. There's an option to turn it off. And to be honest if somebody presses the what a save quick chat prompt (I think if you press left and down on the dpad it types that) and that's enough to make a guy sit there and cry for 5 mins I think he's the one who's toxic and not suitable for online gaming.

I guess you should praise god for online anonymity and match making. If you had shown such a toxic behavior towards your teammates in football, you would have been kicked out of the team on the second try.

I think we need PlayStation All-Stars 2. That's all...

Trolling is a art.

And this world is brimming with Ed Woods.

I play a lot off football and it's actually very toxic too. These guys who can't handle it online definitely wouldn't last long with serious football teams. Whether it's players or managers giving out for making a mistake or your team mates trying to dig up any dirt possible on team mates to slag them off. It's survival of the fittest and there's no option like RL to turn off the chat.

toxic as in sabotaging your own team by scoring Own goals?

Sounds like a sad life if you invest so much time for trolling people you don't know but whatever...

Well you could say that. Yeah sometimes your team mate will sabotage the game the first instance of cheek or disrespect he gets from you in the chat. Sometimes even from the style of your play. Other times they will just go afk and jump on their upside down and spin around or drive around not playing the game. It doesn't annoy me because I get more ball action with them playing but you could definitely class that behavior as toxic.

I've recently bought Rocket League and thankfully the community so far has been fun and not filled with toxic annoying douchebags.

where did you play football? to shootout some not so nice words  in moments of heat is absolutly normal nobody ever says something and after the game everything is fine.
