It comes with a physical cart for Xenoblade 2 Torna: The Golden Country as a stand alone game and a code for the season pass to use with Xenoblade 2.
I just got mine today and have confirmed this. Those of you who were worried can now rest easy.

For those wondering about the quality of the game, it's good.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
I'm wondering why there was so much panic over a potential problem no one could confirm, only to find out there was never a problem in the first place.

Even they could have been wrong though lol. Unless they actually have a copy themselves they really do not have any more info than we do.
I always figured this would be the case though. If it were just a code, paying the extra ten bucks would make no sense at all.

Nah, its GameStop. So they open a few copies to display.

Yeah I forgot about that. For some reason I imagined a retailer like walmart or best buy when you said that. I guess you talked to the right people afterall lol.

curl-6 was the mastermind behind the problem. The same person who feared that Breath of the Wild would not be released on Wii U anymore and insisted that that would be the final blow to his waning trust in Nintendo, because it would show that Nintendo doesn't care for its consumers; the same person who made a thread about Nintendo's continued support of the 3DS, because that apparently showed that Nintendo doesn't really care for its Switch consumers. |
Ah that brings back memories. And I was saying they should cancel the Wii U version so that the Switch could thrive lol
