KManX89 said: He's not wrong, guys, Nintendo is the most anti-consumer platform holder of the 3. Yeah, they make great games, but they're literally the only company of the 3 who's in violation of any laws, violation of consumer protection laws by not letting customers cancel digital pre-orders and fair use laws by copyright striking videos containing their content that clearly fall under fair use. They've been known to do this hand over fist, too, they're even worse about abusing YouTube copyright strikes than Konami FFS, who regularly flag any videos criticizing them and THEIR shitty antics. There's also the issues with overpricing accessories, locking save backups on the Switch behind a paywall when Sony and MS both offer it for free and charging for a barebones online service without any app features, such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. They also had the recent kerfuffle of shutting down ROM sites for games that can't be played in any legal capacity, anymore (except second-hand via eBay, which they can't make money off of that, either), another petty move. Oh, and locking DLC behind toys. TOYS. |
Definitely correct, look at Sony, they even saved many children with their crossplay method.
