Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Double Dipping on Switch

Zelda Breath of the Wild.

Though I’m not sure that counts as double dipping because they released simultaneously and I bought them shortly after each other. Besides that none, I either haven’t bought the port or didn’t have the original, but I will probably on Mario Kart 8 at some point.

EDIT: Forgot about Hyrule Warriors, which I even have three times, also the 3DS version which I haven’t played.

None

None.

I'll may be tempted to buy again The Stick Of Truth when it will come out but beside this one (or GTA V), none

Nothing for me. But most likely if Sims 4 and Pikmin 3 comes. And maybe for TMS#FE.

OMG, out of all of the IPs EA has I thought that besides FIFA,  The Sims 4 would be one of the first games they would put on Switch. Can't believe they still haven't done it.

Uff - way too much.
I've always been a handheld gamer and while I already loved the WiiU because it basically pretended to be a big old Handheld, now that Nintendo has given us a proper high performance hybrid I have a hard time not rebuying my favourite games for on the go.

Here we go:

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Shovel Knight Treasure Trove
The Sexy Brutale
The Binding of Isaac +
Don't Starve
Rayman Legends
Bastion

I'm going to get Transistor as well, and I'm flirting with a few more of the WiiU ports (mainly DK TP and Captain Toad, with Hyrule Warrios a distant third), but won't pay full price on them. I might get them used or wait for an actual significant sale.

Now, that might not seem TOO bad, but that list is ignoring the games I've double dipped on the Switch itself, largely because of Limited Run Games or unexpected physical versions of previously digital only games (although at least one of them was a gift, so that's not too bad). *Sigh*

Thimbleweed Park
Axiom Verge
Retro City Rampage DX

You'd think I'd have learned my lesson to hold off on Indie releases in case of a LRG release, but I bought Bastion anyways.

Minecraft
Skyrim
Darkest Dungeon
Mario Kart 8
Lumines
Rocket League
L.A.Noire
Stardew Valley

Rocket League - PS4
Minecraft - have on about 10 things
Furi - PS4
Resi Evil Rev 2 - Vita
Thumper - PS4
Skyrim - X360/PC
King Oddball - Several devices
The Bridge - PS4
Bayonetta - X360
Rogue Trooper - Wii
Retro City Rampage DX - PS4 (and possibly vita)
Skylanders Imaginators - X360/PS4
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove - Vita
World of Goo - Wii
Don't Die Mr Robot - PS4

Where did you see LA Noire for that price OP? also how big is the downloaded required for the physical version of that game? cos the digital only version is pretty huge.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Mario Kart
Captain Toad

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Only Mario Kart 8 Deluxe after selling the original. There's plenty enough stuff I haven't played so no need to rebuy old games to satisfy my gaming itch. Only games I'd consider double dipping for be HD remasters of the first two Paper Marios.
