I had a lot of fun with Luigi's Mansion 2, so I'll be picking this up no doubt.

Really pleased about this. No confirmation if it's Next Level or EPD, but Next Level did decide to go Nintendo exclusive after the success of Luigi's Mansion 2 and haven't released a game for 2 years - assuming this is out in the second half of 2019, Next Level would have had three years to make it.

I thought the game footage looked really good - I initially thought it was a CG scene for Luigi's Mansion on 3DS.

I initially thought that too!

Amazing series, just hoping they bring the Trilogy to Switch.

So pumped. I hope its sand boxy like the og. This is 1 of the announcements ive been waiting for. Prob the only 1 I get too.

Pretty hyped for it, looking forward to getting more info next year and hopefully they manage to get it done and released in October next year.

No doubt it's Next Level Games, a lot of the style and design are very similar to Dark Moon. Let's just hope it's not a glitch fest again! Gamexplain's theory about 4-player co-op also sounds exciting but I think that'll be for a seperate mode like Scarescraper was. Also, between this and NSMBUD, that's two opportunitys where they could have put in Daisy but didn't. They must really hate her, but eh atleast she's in Smash!

Yeah the time frame would fit Next Level, though you never know, people assumed Retro was making Prime 4 cos the timeline fit.

And ditto, I rolled my eyes at first thinking "seriously, starting the direct with a pre-rendered cutscene for a 3DS demake?"
