I think this is a very nice thing. I have the game on PC and while it's definitely a very flawed title, I find it to actually be somewhat underrated. It's not a masterpiece or anything, but a perfectly enjoyable JRPG nonetheless. I think the critics were far too harsh on it when it first released on the 360.

Fyi - This remaster is based off the PC port which made a shit ton improvements. PC port is looked at favorably.
