Context is still what counts. Cracker isn't racist when I use it to describe what I ate for breakfast. So if white man is not used in insults then what is exactly the problem here? What do you think whoever implemented this wanted to achieve? Looking at this thread it must've been something pretty sinister that will throw the whole world into turmoil.

I burst out laughing when i read it. It's ridiculous but that doesn't stop it from being racist. Again, turn it to black man and you and everyone else would be having the same reaction as the sane people in this thread who see the racism (not reverse racism but actual racism). Want racism to stop? Stop being racist to all races, white people included.

Joke, troll, one angry racist at DICE it doesn't matter. The people or persons who coded that see white people synonymous with Nazi's. That's the problem. I can't take you seriously if you think that is normal or should not be criticized in the same way as if it were an other race.

I still fail to see how censoring that or "black man" or any racial slur for that matter would be considered racist. I mean, I'm a white male, as privileged as they come, but for some reason I do not feel racisted against. Am I immune to racism? Should I get myself checked?

EA keeps giving... but it is all paranoia from non-progressive people, or how they should be called ultra-extremist-right-wing (because political spectrum goes from moderated left - even comunists - immediately to ultra-extremist-right).

As it seems they don't allow DLC, but allow free DLC... perhaps you can say "white trash" but not "white man" even if they may consider it equivalents?

Makes sense. I wouldn't want to be part of an online community that uses harmful and non-ubiquitous words like "white man." Now I can let my children play this game with no worries.

Also why would they censor the word "DLC"? What if people are curious if the eventual DLC is worth buying? Do they have to call it something else when discussing it now?

The best part is that they didn't censor "Free DLC" .

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

This game is really destined to fail. lol

They also censored "defend", "lag", "eat".

I didn't realize "eating" was an "anti-SJW" plot.

With how weird some of these word choices are, i wouldn't be surprised if it was more a system error.

That may be true if DLC was censored with 'free' prefacing it also.

This, a racist black guy in the chat isn't breaking the censors just because he put the word "white" in front of "n***a", asterisks removed (I'm just using this as an example because I have seen this used before instead of cracker, you know, the actual anti-white racial slur).

You can say 'free DLC", but not "DLC"

What about, "not free dlc"?

Hahahahahahaha

Well that's fine with me, that's not really a go to insult in my books.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Such dirty words! White men and DLC shouldn't even exist.

Angry joe had an beta impression and it started with the white men

Is this some kind of elaborate trolling?
