5 million first week worldwide in the bag. 2 million in North America, 2 million in Europe, 1 million elsewhere...

Between this, RDR 2, COD BO4, FIFA 19, NBA 2k19, Fallout 76, Smash Bros Ultimate among others, 2018 is going to be the greatest software selling year of this generation, and probably ever.

Digital for the PS4 has been averaging the low 40% for the last couple quarters so that should add another 80k+...Impressive opening.

If you mean 40% of all sales are digital then it should be at 333k~. If you mean 40% digital of the retail sales then your number is correct. However we don't know the percentage for this particular game and how much the percentage usually is at launch. So unless we get any solid numbers we will never really know 

Resetera, or whatever you call it suggests it has sold bucket loads of software and hardware in the States.

Of the year, so far. Just wait until CoD, RDR2, Pokemon, and Smash release. Not trying to shit on Spidey or anything, it's to be expected that a Spidey game with Arkham levels of quality would sell major numbers, it's just this is only September, and Spidey isn't going to be the biggest release this year. It might top CoD, and maybe Pokemon Go if it flops, but not RDR2 or Smash.

LOL......people still make the same mistake each year understimating COD..... COD will be (like every year since 2009) the best selling game of the year, not RDR, not Spiderman and definitively not Smash with less than a month until 2018 ends. Smash won't be even top 5 of the year (COD, FIFA, NBA 2k, FC5, Spiderman, GOW, MH World and probably Fallout 76 will end the year with more sales just in 2018).

Definitely seems that PS4 should take Sept.  It'll be interesting to see by how much, though.
