Nike is going to sell more shoes to African Americans I guess they have calculated the loss and the probable profits of this move.

Maybe or maybe not ? Though would liberals buy something made by child labor probably not but we'll see what happens ? I think the africans americans that didn't buy nike before aren't still buying nike its not there fashion .

Child labour is ethnically wrong this football player did not do anything illegal and his actions are somewhat admirable especially if you are not from the US. So that comparison doesn't really fly. You never know what people do some burned their shoes over an add. So I can definitely see some people buying different shoes because of an add.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

They made an inspirational ad.  The 'Just do it' campaign isn't new.  Its about fighting through adversity.   These are noble causes and stories mentioned in the ad.  When you see black people, in general, does it make you angry?  Would it be better in your opinion if black people were denied the right to free speech?

What kind of race baiting questions are those, Sharpton? Colin didn't do any of that for some noble cause. He's an idiot who made some piss poor excuse for why he was being disrespectful to the country.

Yes trying to start a conversation about black people being killed by the police is stupid and disrespectful to 'the country'.

As a black person who has witnessed it, I can tell you that wanting to stand up for my life in this country isnt a piss poor reason. It won't stop because black people will NEVER die for you.  Got it.  Nope.  You don't get it.  Lol.  It's okay.  Just know that it won't stop because we think our live are worth fight for.

You are all like "how dare you speak up for yourself"?

Let's see if Nike would keep it even if it costs them everything, I dearly doubt it.

Kapernick's kneeling during the anthem was a fine protest against Trump and against racism. Kapernick is a freedom fighter and a modern day activist against racism.

Barack Obama was president when Kaepernick started kneeling during the 49ers 2016 preseason.  Trump only became a figure in the protests at the opening of the 2017 season when he spoke against other NFL players who had continued the kneeling after Kaepernick was already out of the league.

Kaepernick didn't kneel during the anthem when he was the 49ers starting QB in Super Bowl XLVII.  The start of his protest coincided with when he found himself as the back-up QB to Blaine Gabbert, and suddenly wanted out of his contract.  There are reasons why people find him disingenuous.

Marketing people usually end up pushing their own agenda at the expense of the company.

I don't care when he started it and for what reason.  I know that it is real and it needs to be talked about.  Because, it is bigger than him.  He wasn't the only one doing it either.  He because the poster boy for it but regardless of whether you like what he did or not, it needs to be talked about.

Colin has the right to knee against police brutality on African Americans, and I support him.

Proud to be a Californian.

Loony far right idiots are salty as fuck over it and it's hilarious.

Good on Nike and good on Kap for sticking it to 'em.
