Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo Direct announced for tomorrow! (09/13/18)

What about Sailor Moon and Sailor Goku for Smash Bros. You know, because Nintendo = Japan = Anamoooo!!!!!

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

every time i see 3DS in a direct I am haunted by the memories of the old 3DS/Wii U directs.

We can only hope if and when Luigi's Mansion sells poorly that they'll understand the majority has moved on. Just look at Captain Toad's sales-numbers on this site

Hopefully not more than 20% of the Direct focuses on Smash.
Regardless, some excitement here. Could be interesting.

After all of the info they told us in the Smash Direct, what more can they possibly say? The Spirits mode? It will just be a newcomer, or something of the sort.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I think the remake (or demake, if you want to call it) was already in development by the time Switch was launching. Not much more they could do. It’s not as simple as “just make it on Switch!” I think it’s also developed by Next Level Games so simply telling to to develop an HD game, in which they haven’t done outside of Captain America, doesn’t seem that simple.

at least half of the direct must be for online service, so i dont expect much other things...

The way Nintendo wastes the talent of NLG just fucking hurts...

Ugh...

Lets have a 2D Super Mario with like hand drawn artstyle or something. And one that are also fun to play by yourself.

Hey, if it comes bundled with Mario Maker, I'm good. Also, I'm waiting for either the Wonderful 101 or Xenoblade X Remaster. Though they are probably left for next year.

There is zero sense they would bundled Mario Maker and NSMBU, they are totally different experiences and they know they could easily sell them seperate. In any case, I can see NSMBU port and later Mario Maker 2.

They realise that, only reason why they still want to keep 3DS alive with some releases is because Switch has quite strong price point point for people that only wants handheld.

I wonder, what big 3rd party game of Direct will be.
Last September we had Doom and Wolfenstein 2, in January we had Dark Souls Remaster and in March biggest one was Crash Bandicoot.

Maybe GTA5 or CoD!? :D

I think we need to let go of the GTAV dream at this point
