XBoxOne will never reach 60-70M according to current trend. PS4 has sold more than twice than One, and continues to outsell the MS console by more than 2:1. PS4 will most probably hit 120M plus by the end of its life cycle, no way it can stop at 100M, considering it might reach 95M plus by the end of this year. You shoud review your calculations....PS5 is not gonna happen before Nov 2020, and PS4 will continue selling after that time, anyway.

That said, I don't consider XBox One a failure, of course, it still is a productive console, and plenty of good games.

Neither do I. I think it's very good console.

Sales might gain some traction with All-Access, I believe they will hit 60 mil, that's what they are aiming as well (I suppose). That wouldn't be an embarrassing number and XBOX reputation wouldn't be ruined.

You expect another 20 million over the next 2 years?

I can't see it reaching 60 they will struggle reaching 50 mill. They are selling about 70k per week. It is actually a closer battle between XB1 and the 3DS than it is between them and whomever finishes 2nd between Sony and Nintendo On a weekly basis at this point.

No chance. MS needs to spin their words around a different way to make investors seem happy. Which is why they kept talking about how many people played this game etc..rather than giving actual sales number.

If the actual number of Xbox one units sold ever significantly exceeds the estimated numbers that everybody's working with, then they will likely announce. Companies only want to give good news. So, if they ever have good news to give, I'm sure they'll do so. Disappointing news only comes out when it's legally required.
