At 87 now which was my score. I was right with the high 80s.

Doing right by a developer is not taking them over when they want to remain independent--which they couldn't do, anyway, as I believe Insomniac is a private company.

So the main criticism so far is repetitive sidequests?....I really wish devs in general would step up their game when it comes to sidequests in open world games.

No.. 91 was there highest game which was Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal and Spyro Year of the Dragon to my knowledge back in 2004 and 2000. They only ever hit the 90 Meta with 2 games as far as I am aware. Insomniac are a little overhyped as a company on here but they are a consistently good company. They also had there fair share of bad games which we wont talk about.

I actually agree with you. Good not great is an accurate way to describe insomniac as a company imo. The ratchet and clank games were decent to good only. Even the remake I found just okay. And sunset overdrive was boring. I don’t understand why Insomniac and their games get so hyped. People raved about SO and still rave about it. When I finished it I was left very confused by the hype. 

Edit:  I guess I should add to this the fact that I am actually quite excited for Spider-Man bc 1. It’s spiderman, and 2. This is the largest team insomniac has ever had, so I have confidence it will be good.

I've not seen anyone claim that Insomniac was a flawless company. And my definition of a masterpiece is irrelevant to your claims of "overhype".

So quit trying to do what you do in these threads. 

Excuse me? What are you on about? Quit doing what? I posted an answer to one member asking a question. You replied to my post and disagreed. So I asked you a question back.

Our opinions differ, but stop trying to accuse members for doing thing in threads. Nothing was said out of line.

Guerrilla games wasn't know for  stellar stuff with KillZone and HZD was a pretty amazing game. 

The multiplayer of Killzone Shadow Fall WAS (is) stellar. Really awesome stuff.
