Nice to see these games coming back, though I'm curious as to why they're only releasing on the Switch. Doesn't bother me too much since I already have both games, but this just seems like an odd decision.

Holy crap! What a blast from the past! Only played 1, 3 and a bit of Grandia Extreme(which is quite meh imo) but 1 was so nostalgic even playing it for the first time when I was in grade/high school can't remember, and really enjoyed the bond between the boy and the girl(the younger one not the teen looking one which happens to have the same green hair) whose names I've forgotten. Just might pick it up along with 2 if they're not bundled in already. If they decide to remaster 3 then I'll get that one too.

Good, they aren't my favourite jrpgs but they were good enough. In portable mode on the small screen they might even still look decent. They wouldn't hold up so well on a 4K screen but I still hope there is a PS4 port. They should really make it the Grandia trilogy though.

Also you can still actually buy Grandia on PS3/PSP/Vita (Grandia 3 too in the US) so missing PS4 seems odd. But maybe they are just bringing balance to the force. They debuted on Sega, then on to Playstation, now Nintendo and then in 14 years Xbox will have them.

I dunno. I can get behind playing it on Switch, but I can't earn trophies there...

I never got to play these but have always heard good things will definitely pick it up. Hopefully it's a physical release.

Now just need my personal favorite rpg to come Skies of Arcadia!
