So you support illegal immigration?  Most immigrants I know dislike when people cheat a system they had to work within.

I support helping people who are desperate. Like I said, my parents fled illegally from Vietnam to Hong Kong where I was then born. We came to Canada legally but that wouldn't have been possible if my parents didn't take the risk of fleeing illegally in the first place.

It was certainly tough for my parents to integrate to Canada, but they did what they could. Fortunately, I was much more successful all thanks to their risk and sacrifice. I am grateful to Canada as well and work hard to pay back a nearly impossible debt.

When the rule of law bends then it might as well bend to all. First and foremost it should be equal and fair among all those it encompasses.

What they should do is find a better job at helping those in crisis rather than encourage illegal immigration by welcoming them and being very tolerant about it.

We came from a third world country. Our family might have not been downright at the bottom end of poverty but waiting 10 years in separation till we got properly processed for migration was no easy task. My father died of cancer a year before we were allowed to migrate. Someone entering illegally is just down right bullshit no matter what the circumstance. We respected the law and we expect the same goes for everyone. Nobody is above it.

Otherwise, let there be anarchy as we're not even trying to be fair to those who respected that line.

Trudeau is a dumbass. Even a lot of liberals know that at this point, its just sad the Conservatives are almost as much of a joke as well. With Bernier making his new party, the right could be split for a long time meaning the Liberals may as well make this country a new dictatorship as the NDP won't even be strong enough to split the left completely.

TL;DR: We're screwed with selfie boy.

PS: The son of Fidel Castro thing is fucking hilarious! XD

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Hopefully a new government comes in to power next year and stops all this bullshit.

From the polling numbers right now, I wouldn't count on that. The two main parties may be about level in most of the polls, but when it comes to who'd make a better PM, Andrew Scheer is polling way, way behind Trudeau. And yeah, I know pre-election polling numbers don't mean everything (if they did, Tom Mulcair would be the country's PM right now), but it's not exactly a good sign.

My prediction? The Conservatives will do a bit better than in 2015, but the Liberals will hold onto power thanks to the Bloc's implosion, and probably also the NDP doing worse than expected.

That's wrong. You guys dont give anyone a chance. Leftists make judgement about people based on one time actions or mistakes then brand them for life with it.

A one time action or mistake?  I don't think you understand racism or bigotry then.

Massimus - "Trump already has democrat support."

I am quite certain that aftre Trudeau time in office, a populist will be elected.

Don't most politicians or leaders make use of populism or are partly populist?

Well, considering recent events, history may record Trudeau's fatal mistake as being not calling an election last year while the Conservatives were floundering around in the aftermath of Bernier's breaking away from the party.

As it is, about the best he can hope for to stay in power is if he wins a landslide in Quebec, and the NDP also take enough seats to make some sort of coalition viable. Which, oddly enough, I seem to remember happening to his father...

What exactly was it that he did? Something about trying to silence some investigation?

I got it all, baby!

PS4, Switch, WiiU, XBO, PC
Vita, 3DS, Android

Top 3 this generation:
Bloodborne, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Dark Souls III

Canada should build a wall to keep all those American illegals out... 5 billion Canadian moneys!

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I think Sheer will win like how Trump may have won, but not by much. I myself really don't like Sheer, and prefer Bernier yet I don't see him doing all that well with a newly formed party, but Trudeau couldn't threaten me to vote for him. If JT would promise to cut taxes in half I still wouldn't vote for him. I most likely will be voting Sheer just to spite Trudeau's liberals. At this point in time most of my friends seem to feel the same way. I'm hoping Bernier can pull a rabbit out of a hat but I see that being even more unlikely than Trumps election.

The Canadian National Anthem According To Justin Trudeau

Oh planet Earth! The home of native lands,
True social law, in all of us demand.
With cattle farts, we view sea rise,
Our North sinking slowly.
From far and snide, oh planet Earth,
Our healthcare is yours free!
Science save our land, harnessing the breeze,
Oh planet Earth, smoke weed and ferment yeast.
Oh planet Earth, ell gee bee queue and tee.
