Forums - Nintendo Discussion - [UPDATE: Confirmed Indie Presentation]Rumor: There could be a Nindie direct (or Mini Direct)airing later today.

There was some rumors going around about a presentation happening this week. This weekend, to throw a little fuel to this,a high number of indie studios that work for Switch have been tweeting hints and teases about a new announcement from them later today, and most of them mention a 14:00 CEST hour for their announcement. The Morphies Law's developer have teasing a "big news" for today for a while, until it gave that hour as to when it would happened.

Nintendo Life also claim they had heard from their sources about this Direct today, remember that has happened for Nintendo to just drop a Nindie Direct or a Mini Direct out of nowhere like that, without announcing it first. It will not take long so shortly we will find out.

EDIT: Confirmed and it is live a 22 minute indie presentation.

Guess we'll know in an hour

Wouldn't be the first time I suppose, but I'll remain sceptical. Last time we had a mini Direct there was a lot more word going around. If anything happens I think it just be an Nindie showcase.

Seems like it would be nindies focused if this were the case.

No way!!

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I hope it's just a normal direct, or a mini-direct, either with Nintendo announcements too. Indies are great, but I want Nintendo's B and C tier games to start dropping. Pikmin 4 has been coming for ages now.

Can someone make an "indie" direct sequel to Paper Mario TTYD in the same engine as the original? I'd love a big budget modern one from Nintendo, but since that isn't happening I'll take a gamecube level graphics sequel made by a small studio please!

It's Gamescom this week, so timing does sound legit.

And quite a few developers have mentioned it... just 7min to find out!
