Max Kellerman is going to be pissed he is still waiting for Brady to fall off the cliff. Kellerman is just a freaking hater he also thinks that Harden isn't a top 5 player in the NBA even though he is the clear choice to for being this years regular season MVP.

None of those sports talk people actually believe what they're saying. They're just taking the most controversial stance they can to get as many views as possible. Unfortunately, hot takes will always supercede measured, informed debate when it comes to getting attention, and so that's pretty much all you'll find on sports TV/radio.

Anyway with the Eagles/Saints game underway, here are everyone's picks for the week, listed by matchup. Incidentally, all of the matchups (that I have picks for) have been decided regardless of the result of the final game. Bolded/strikethrough names indicate the matchup's winner/loser.

=====

The Golden Boy: IND by 3, LAR by 7, NE by 3, NO by 10

CARL: KC by 7, LAR by 7, NE by 7, NO by 7

=====

Level1Death: IND by 7, DAL by 6, LAC by 3, NO by 10

FARSALA: IND by 7, LAR by 10, NE by 7, PHI by 3

=====

BURNINMYLIGHT: KC by 3, LAR by 7, NE by 4, NO by 6

RolStoppable: KC by 7, LAR by 10, LAC by 3, NO by 14

I fucked up by switching my KC pick to IND. That's annoying.

Anyways congrats Carl.

I listened to ESPN radio for a little bit to get updates on the Pats game while driving.

Steven A. Smith: "ZEKE IS THE THE SECOND BEST RUNNING BACK IN THE LEAGUE, NO QUESTIONS, HANDS DOWN, I'M NOT GOING TO EXPLAIN WHY! EXTEND HIM! PAY THE MAN! JUST HURRY UP AND PAY HIM!"

Me: Dude, he's in Year 3 of a rookie deal. Why would you rip that up now, especially for an RB, when you can get a couple more cost-beneficial years out of him before even having to franchise tag him? And even then, you can FT him if you feel like he's lost too much tread on the tires after hundreds and hundreds of carries. The Cowboys already have to figure out what the heck to do with Dak. Did you think this through at all?

Your first mistake was listening to Stephen A. Smith. You should have shut off the radio as soon as you knew it was him lol.

Do you turn away from a car wreck when you see it happening? Lol

Dang, the 1 and 2 seed of both conferences won.

Divisional Round Results

# Username Record vs. Record Username # HFA
10 Carl 4-0 vs. 3-1 TheGoldenBoy 1 32
9 Farsala 2-2 vs. 1-3 Level1Death 2 20
6 MTZehvor 4-0 vs. 3-1 cycycychris 3 3
5 RolStoppable 3-1 vs. 4-0 burninmylight 4 1

An upset free weekend in the NFL turned into a round of upsets in the prediction league playoffs. 3 of the 4 underdogs advanced, including the two people who probably least deserved it last weekend. Every matchup was decided on record alone, so I didn't bother to calculate the PDT. TheGoldenBoy joins the list of individuals who hold the dubious honor of winning the prediction league and going one and done in the postseason. Rol and cycychris also both had the misfortune of being stuck with matchups where 3-1 wasn't enough to move on, but it's hard to feel too sorry for them when they picked the Chargers.

This brings us to the Conference Championship round.

# Username Record/PDT vs. Record/PDT Username # HFA

Patriots @ Chiefs

Both games are on Sunday, beginning at 3:00 EST and 6:30 EST respectively.

As with previous rounds, Carl and burninmylight will send picks to me, while Farsala and I will send picks to Rol.

Harden's numbers are way more impressive he will end up having the highest points per game scoring average since Kobe Bryant averaged 35.40 ppg in 05-06.  And he is putting up those numbers in the still vastly superior Western Conference where there is really only one terrible team which is the Suns.  Meanwhile in the East there are four terrible teams the Cavs, the Hawks, The Bulls and the Knicks and more then likely 2 to three teams with sub 500 records will make it into the playoffs while in the West 2 to three teams with winning records will miss the playoffs.

Brady was 7-0 against Rivers before today's game which made it surprising that so many experts actually picked the Chargers to win that game.
