Lots of confidence in the Chargers. AFC West is (probably) going to be terrible this year, so I guess it's possible.

As it stands, we've got 7 people for fantasy football. I'll look into finding a few more, but I think we'll go ahead and tentatively set a draft date for Sunday, September 2nd. Anyone currently signed up have a problem with that?

Works for me. We should definitely try to get at least 3 more people though, otherwise everybody basically ends up with an all pro roster, which isn't quite as interesting.

I'm in for bracket and prediction league. I'll fill out my bracket in the next couple of days when I'm free.

Some positive news for the Seahawks' fans among us; Russell Wilson was evidently very happy with the play of his offensive line in Seattle's most recent preseason game. Has to be at least moderately encouraging after pass protection was virtually non existent for the Seahawks last year.

Russ and Pete are always positive about their guys. I'll curb any enthusiasm until the real games start. Anything above a bottom two offensive line is a step up at this point.

Heck, I’d be happy if they just stopped having so many false starts and holding penalties.  That’s what killed most of our offensive series last year...

I would like to see New England Patriots lose the Super Bowl Final again!

Even though the Lions won this week I'm not very impressed with how the first team offense and defense played. Too many sacks given up on offense and not enough sacks on defense. Luckily it's the preseason but my excitement has been tempered quite a bit.

In the words of Michael Scott:

"Why are you the way that you are?"

Yeah, I felt similarly about New England. After a very strong showing in game 2, virtually everyone played worse (especially the defense) in game 3. Part of that is probably due to our D-Line being pretty inexperienced, but still.

Also, if you're in fantasy, the draft is now set for 6:00 PM EDT on Sunday, Sept. 2nd. If this doesn't work for anyone involved, let me know.

It may have been lost in my post, but I would like to do fantasy football again this year as well :)
