Couldn't help but notice the thread title. I know everyone dislikes the Patriots myself included, but we gotta be real, 2 losses doesn't mean they suck. As long as they have Tom Brady they're better than half the league atleast. This isn't the first time they've had hiccups early in the season, they'll still win the division and be a serious playoff threat as always. Maybe if they lose 3 in a row we could start questioning their elite status, but that's uber unlikely. Can't remember the last time they lost 3 consecutively, plus they rarely lose at home.
Don't let the Dolphin's record fool you, their offense is still weak and self destructive with Tannehill continuing to let himself be an easy target inside the pocket despite his athleticism. Even if the Patriots don't get their act together, as long as they don't have too many turnovers, penaltys, and bad play calls they'll win by default.

I'll just do this now so I don't forget this time.

I wished I knew if Mayfield or Taylor will play the game against the Raiders.

Mayfield was named the starter.

Then I leave my pick as it is.
Well, there goes the season for my 49ers...

Week 3 Results
What looked like a relatively easy slate of games to predict quickly descended into another overall rough week for the prediction league. Only one user (X84) managed to finish with double digit wins, down from 5 in Week 1 and 2 in Week 2. As with the past two weeks as well, we had one perfect prediction for Monday night (Rol). One week after posting the best weekly record in the league, noname2200 fell hard, posting the worst record of anyone who remembered to pick more than one game.

You may have also noticed a distinct lack of PP for this week, which is largely because nobody but Rol has chimed in on which version they prefer. As a result, I'm going to put a poll up this week asking which version people prefer: Points being given out Per Person (i.e. the top three people get points barring ties, and nobody else) or points Per Record (i.e. the top three records get points, regardless of how many people got each record). If any clarification on the difference between the two is needed, let me know. For you league vets, Per Person is how I've done things this year, while Per Record is how things have been done in seasons past.
Regardless of which option ultimately gets chosen, I'll update PPs from the past two weeks and this week as well to reflect the system that's preferred by the majority of the community. In other words, if more people prefer per record, I'll go back in and recalculate PP to reflect that change from Weeks 1-2, despite per person being initially used there.

Moving onto the overall standings, we've got a shakeup at the top. Level1Death, the only member in the league to post a winning record in all three weeks, and X84 have taken over first place, while Rol has moved up to second after getting lucky with his Steelers' pick despite not even knowing that Le'Veon Bell wasn't on the team. I've been knocked down to a logjam in fourth place, along with cycychris, TheGoldenBoy, and resident jinxer of the games involving Detroit, BlowoverKing.
As always, look over your results and let me know if I've made any mistakes.
