That being said, I actually expect the Vikings to get by either way, but the NFL is the one thing in life that makes me superstitious. I keep picking the Vikings to lose on the road in big matchups the past couple of seasons, and they keep winning, and I am a Vikings fan first and foremost. I will gladly take L's in this prediction league to help Minny out. SKOL!!!!

Man, y'all are scarred as a fanbase, huh?

Sports superstition is more common than you think, but yes, we are scarred. Falcons in '97, Saints in '10, Seahawks in '16, and let's not forget the final play of the final game in '03 against the Cardinals. Being a Vikings fan has taught me to expect and prepare for the worst in life, and even after that, it'll pull something deep out of the ass to screw you over in a new and creative way. And that's not counting all of the playoff ass whippins like against the Eagles last year.

Also, your avatar pic would be much funnier if it was titled, "SHROOM"

Malcolm Treadwell and Daniel Carlson, don't let the doorknob hit ya where the good Lord split ya.

A lot of actually-potentially-fun games this week, from the looks of it. I choose to believe in Fitzmagic (did you know he went to Hahverd?). I choose to believe that the Steelers' tie with the Browns wasn't just nerves from the OverPowering Crowd of The Cleve. I choose to believe that Matthew Stafford remains overrated, and that Bellicheat continues to bear nothing but poisonous fruit. I choose to believe that the Jaguars will murder Tom Brady, causing a win for humanity regardless of the final score. I choose to believe that Mark Davis is an idiot who will have to sell the franchise because of idiotic decisions like the Gruden contract. But above all, I choose to believe that some day, somewhere, some how, there will come a day when the networks stop trying to force-feed us the shit that is NFC East games in prime time, as they are wont to do time and again and again.

Go Pack, please don't let Rodgers die.

Did you pick in Week 1?

EDIT: Boy I'm so glad to see our defense is back to being utter shit after one week of something vaguely resembling competency.

White guys can't kick.

Mike Zimmer just proved this team can't win a Super Bowl with that decision making to close out that game. 40 seconds, two time outs, two top receivers, a QB who just threw you back into the game.....and you decide not to take a single shot…..when your kicker hasn't hit anything all game.

Ok.

Ok.

I thought last year's NFC Championship already demonstrated the Vikings' inability to win a Super Bowl.

At least they had a QB excuse then. Now, you just paid a guy 80+ million fully guaranteed to be the guy. He's supposed to put you over the top, and you won't even give him the ball to put away a regular season game. That's just inexcusable.
