For 2 weeks now the Switch tops everyone. Over 200k. On pace for the 20 mil units easy. Sony still has the upcoming Spider Man game though.

The NA figures are pretty close to what the prediction tool tracked in July.

If Octopath is providing this bump in sales...just imagine what the holiday titles will do. This is going to be interesting to watch.

So Switch is doing amazing in NA and reached 19 millions !
It is doing a lot better in Europe, like if these are the real numbers, this is pretty good.
Stable in Japan too.
205k in summer without major titles is great. With pokemon, smash and great promo/bundles the Switch can reach 20 millions during this FY.

So how long are we betting that the Switch holds on to the lead? Until late August? Either way, this makes me optimistic for the holidays

I wouldn't say easy but I am definitely hoping that they will be able to hit their goal!

I guess Switch sales will surpass Gamecube sales by october (or before)

And in 2019, it will probably surpass N64 sales and in 2020 SNES sales and so on

If they are at 19 mil they would only need 5 more weeks of 200k sales...quite doable especially with the hype the new Smash game is gathering. Sony will make another strong push soon, but again with Smash on the horizon,  its quite posible the Switch remains on that 200k run.
