I can accept most of this but Other M is way to high even as poorly as the original Metroid has aged I can't accept it or Prime Pinball being below Other M.

I don't think Other M is a bad game. Just not a very good Metroid game. I would put the original above it though.

I feel people are overrating Super Metroid and Metroid Prime to a point where it is harmful. In the same way, Ocarina of Time was to the Zelda series. Seeing Metroid 1 and 2 so low makes me question this list as well.

Them unskippable cutscenes... I say it's actually an alrgiht Metroid game, close to mediocre partly because it loves to rehash stuff from previous games a bit too much, but the narrative is what ultimately kills it, and the fact that you can't skip it is, well, atrocious. 



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

It's about time we get a Metroid Prime Trilogy on the Switch, isn't it?

I loved Metroid Other M and it's one of my favorites. The story was nice and gave personality to Samus, which i liked a lot. The cinematics were great.
Gameplay was frustrating sometimes tho but there was some nice sequences and bosses. Music was insanely good. I would put it top 5 with the 3 prime and Super Metroid.
