Super Smash Ultimate: Is Goku Actually a Possibility? Like Is it Really IMPOSSIBLE?

Ok ok before any1 goes completely ham let me say 2 things.... 1 this isnt made as a BOLD prediction, its more of a discussion on said topic. And 2, yes as a Huge SSB fan (favorite franchise of all time) i already know the Golden Rule of SSB. And that is Video Game Character only!

But even with that... I feel as though Goku is the only character with that restriction can be possible...

Im not opening the floodgates with Shrek/Luffy/Superman etc, but with Sakurai adding in fan favorites, listening to fans compared to any other ssb before Ultimate i just have this funny feeling Goku has a chance.

There are even reaching points hinting at Goku debut as well as the ssb ballot that had a ton of Goku votes (as a gagetc but still)

Smash Bro's is a celebration of Nintendo's own IP's and third party choices that have some sort of relevance to Nintendo. Why the hell would Goku be in smash? What is his relevance to Nintendo?

The end of K Rool's trailer with the punch in the sun with DK looked like something straight out of DBZ. I could see it happening. I don't really care about dragonball so it wouldn't affect me, but I won't say no to new content, Goku would be fine by me

I wouldn't rule it out.

I could see a Goku announcement and echo Vegeta.

They do something like have them be excited for the Smash tournament in a trailer and have them be told soething like "No flying" like the tournament of Power. That removes that problem. Then give them some moveset of mainly punching and kicks and ki blasts as long range with like Kamehameha and Gallet Gun or something as their final smashes.

Will I be upset if they aren't in it? Hell no. I don't expect them and believe they have like a 1% chance. But they have a chance this game versus other games I didn't think they did at all.

It is possible, and I hope it happens. Goku would be a really cool character, and I can't find a good reason to not have him

If Goku comes then everybody will ask for Naruto. It's a downhill path, I don't wanna see smash coming to that way.

Crash and Banjo are the best contenders. I remember somebody mentioning that smash has 0 western fighter. That's a subject that Smash should embrace, not anime characters.

Seriously, imagine a fight between the representative  mascots of the big 3 .That's is something that would make the internet go crazyh

Same thing could be said for Snake though, only 3/21 games in the series are on Nintendo. I didn't really like that he was in Brawl (though after actually playing him I came round) because of Metal Gear's lack of history with Nintendo, whilst there's been considerably more Dragonball games on Nintendo dating back to the 80s. I get that he's anime first, but Goku is as passable as Snake imo

Sounds like the standard pokemon rule (no new pokemon in the same gen).

Again like i posted i know out golden rule here but that doesn't mean its impossible. If a non video game original character ever came to ssb it be Goku.

The biggest reason reason he shouldn't be in is because he IS NOT A VIDEOGAME CHARACTER, the moment you add him any non video game character could now be in and it's already bad enough with people asking for Goku and Shrek,despite the fact that neither is possible.

Also why the fuck is it that only Goku and DB get requested for Smash, because without the manga and anime nobody would care about them, because least be honest out side of a few games, DB games aren't good, there are non video game characters, like 007 and Batman, that have a better case to be a part of Smash, and even they should never allowed to be near Smash let alone in one.

Goku for Smash is just a stupid meme that should just die already.
