Forums - Gaming Discussion - Final Fantasy XV is the fastest selling FF game ever

I wonder if the PC version will get a substantial jump in sales when the full mod tool finally comes out.

Thats sad to hear.Hopefully Square dosent learn the wrong lesson here.

Just pointing out, Im not necessaraly against action based rpgs(turn based is much better for FF), but that modern setting... ugh.Square, just get rid of it

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Good to hear, despite what people may think about it, I actually really enjoyed myself... then again I did wait until a year after it released, so I know additional stuff got added, but I've still not played any of the episodes or the Royal content.

I haven't played the episodes or royal content, but I think I sunk 85 hours in. First FF I have played through in full - had a lot of fun.

Will buy this for PC, frame rate was pretty negative on PS4 to be honest.

Not sure how it is on base PS4, but on a Pro it runs at a locked 30fps or 40-50fps depending on which setting you pick... oh, and 60fps if you look directly up into the sky and do nothing at all, now that's a true 60fps experience right there! :P

I played it on base PS4 without any significant issues.

But not nearly my favorite.

IX > X > XIII > XV

Yeah I've still not finished everything in the vanilla game yet, still need to get a couple of Royal Arms, and there's plenty of hunts left to do, and kill the Adamantoise... and my playtime is somewhere at 75 hours or so. I'm planning on going back to it sometime down the line and hopefully getting myself the platinum, along with playing all the episodes and Royal content.

Oh yeah there is a tonne of stuff I never got around to hunt and dungeon wise.

I did get Adamantoise though! Long and boring fight lol.

Happy days. Delighted for them

That's awesome to hear! One of the best FF i played in a long time. Probably in my top 3-4 FF games. I had so much fun I had to platinum it. Im waiting for a more complete version to play all of the DLC now.

Yep one of the first game I'm waiting to buy gold version (perhaps give the original to my brother) and other is RE7 since I played without buying and now want to buy Gold

No doubt a good amount of the recent sales came from the Steam version. I wonder if we'll ever have a universal way to show digital sales figures. It was at 7 million earlier this year so it's clearly still selling. Some are on the fence and waiting for their right time to jump in too.
