LOL, last week you people were all mad that he was to nice with Russia, a nuclear nation, and now you are mad that he is too strict. He probably shouldn't have written in all caps, but Iran is a threat to everyone. That is all i have to say on the matter

How on earth is Iran a threat to anyone? When's the last time Iran even attacked a foreign nation?*

*Self-defense does not count obviously.

Don't believe the ignorant American media. Countries like Saudi Arabia are ten times worse yet you do business with them just fine. Don't be a fucking hypocrite.

How long ago was that clip?

It's dated May 9, 2018.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/05/08/politics/donald-trump-iran-deal-announcement-decision/index.html

So is this.

Do Americans want to deal with people like this? Do Iranians want to deal with someone like Trump and America?

Who overreacted more and who's more full of baloney?

In this geopolitical shift, we're going to see the US starting to back away from Europe and the Middle East while developing closer relations East Asia and probably Central and South America. Also, one of two things are going to happen. Either the US will improve relations with Russia while relations with China get worse or they're going to improve relations with China while relations with Russia get worse. I have a feeling that Trump may be gambling on Russia, which makes sense. If you don't have a problem with Russia, there would be no need to spends billions of dollars building up a NATO military presence along Russian borders. That would allow the US to use more of their resources in East Asia to counter China. With everything that has been going on over the last few years with both Obama and Trump being critical of NATO and with the sudden shift in US-North Korean relations, I think we're in the beginning of the biggest geopolitical shift since the end of the Second World War.

You've forgotten about India. For the sake of democracy, we can only hope that Indian democracy gets stronger and that India continues to rise and develop to counter China, while Russia continues to falter and sink into irrelevancy. Continued cooperation with Europe can stave off Russia, while increased cooperation and development of India can counter China, with the help of Japan and South Korea. I'm not convinced that anything concrete has happened with North Korea, though hopefully tensions are decreased for the time being. If China ever democratizes, something that I wouldn't write off as impossible, greater cooperation with China might be possible. Regardless, writing off India as irrelevant in this scenario would be foolish. They have more people, a younger population, and a democracy that seems to be getting better even as those around the world decline.

Sure, Mr. "president", go ahead. Go ahead and provoke a nation with a massive nuclear arsenal that's ready to pull the trigger. It's not like they'll retaliate and fire at America, and it's not like Canada and Mexico will be caught in the blast zone, leading to all out nuclear war from all sides.

I swear this idiot is gonna get us all killed. -_-

Rouhani is president of Iran, the highest political figure of his country, officially (although the power of ayatollas makes Iranian politicians de facto almost puppets), and he was the FIRST to provoke, threatening USA quite directly, although in a pompous, exaggerated and ridiculous way that reminds Qaddafi or Saddam, so Trump HAD to retort, he just should have been a lot subtler, for example reminding Rouhani what happened to Argentinian military junta when they attacked UK.

You corrected your first mistake, but not the second one?

Good. Their fault for screaming death to america and burning the flag. Iran is a threat to the human race, and Trump seems to be the only one standing up against their radical ideology.
We shouldn't be defending a country that oppresses women, throws gays off roof tops, and burns christians just because Trump said something 'mean' to them on twitter. Seriously people. You seem to forget your own moral beliefs when anything pops up with Trump. He is not sexist, racist, or homophobic. He is fighting against that shit, but you all choose to listen to the mainstream media and only care about his locker room talk.

This is not a tantrum from a 2 year old girl, and this is not a keyboard warrior. This is the president that YOU elected, using a trustworthy platform to spread HIS message to the world. And it was an important message. Now the fascist dictator of Iran is pissing himself to the thought of being in Trumps cross hairs.
This guy did not become a billionaire from being a moronic, soft 2 year old girl; he became a billionaire from being strict, smart with words, and straight to the god damn point. And now he is the president, How is that?.

Rouhani said, "American must understand well that peace with Iran is the mother of all peace and war with Iran is the mother of all wars."

I wouldn't call that provocation given it was prefaced by a statement of peace.

Are you kidding? You are quoting Rouhani partially. Even these words alone wouldn't be very peaceful, but more a veiled threat, but if you consider also the other things Rouhani said, like that part about playing with the lion's tail and regretting it, it becomes a threat much more explicit.

Edit: Anyhow, as Rouhani tried to be subtle like a mafioso (failing), Trump too, as i already wrote, should have been subtler.

Iranians actually are nice people. Everyone who ever spent a few weeks in the country will tell you that. It's the loudmouths at the top government positions that are the problem. And boy do we have a loudmouth at the top of one particular country.....
