Erm, no. Not now. But are those side handlers in OP's picture a thing? THAT I would get right now

https://www.amazon.com/Industries-Nintendo-Provides-Comfortable-Enhanced-gameplay/dp/B07CBJBQHG/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1531723128&sr=8-4&keywords=switch+grip

Or you cut this in half:

https://www.amazon.com/PowerA-Nintendo-Switch-Joy-Comfort-Grip-Red/dp/B01NBVACKX/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1531723128&sr=8-13&keywords=switch%2Bgrip&th=1

1. Yeah, I had seen that one on Amazon, but the one in OP seemed more "integrated". Anyway, have you or anyone here tried that model from your link? If so, is it any good?

2. Lol

Well... more performance is always welcome. Just started BOTW and the performance completely tanks occasionally, we're talking sub-15fps for a few seconds.

Have you updated it? Cos according to Digital Foundry the patched version is an almost locked 30fps.

Yeah, there's still a few places/situations where it'll tank.

"Sub-15fps" sounds unlikely though, the lowest DF recorded even pre-patch was 20fps.

The old iPad vs the (insert name of current Nintendo portable device) discussion rears it’s head again.

Post-patch it dropped to 20fps in there video in several areas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6NkNgI1ssw

But it definitely drops further then that for me, we're not talking long periods. Just a drop to ~15fps for 5-ish seconds, I'm guessing I've played around 4 hours and in that time it's happened to me at least 4 or 5 times. 15fps might actually be generous judging by DF's 20fps footage.

It's mostly fine, just every 40 minutes or so it suddenly decides it's going to screw up for a few seconds completely at random, and then it'll carry on as normal.

No.

A smaller version with permanently attached joycon is needed for small children and more portability to help finish off the 3DS, but not until next year. Would be nice to see it launched alongside a Switch XL that replaces the bezel for screen area and is 1080 handheld, but even that model so early isn’t a must. The smaller child-friendly version needs to be released at the latest 2019 though.

Ya i would like to see 3 revisions using the Tegra X2 over the next few years.

1. Switch Mini, portable only version, $199

2. Switch TV, console only version, $199

3. Switch Pro, more powerful hybrid version, $299

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

I don't think we need a revision yet considering how well it's doing still and the fact that bringing a new one out so soon is gonna piss people off and confuse the casual buyers.

But it's hard to take your post seriously when you're comparing a Switch that costs £279 to an iPhone X that costs £1,000, which is over THREE TIMES the difference.

GBA, DS & 3DS all got their first revision 1.5-2 years after launch so it wouldnt be too crazy for Switch to get a revision either this fall or next spring.

Post-patch they still record a 29fps average throughout their stress tests, and that's when they're running the most demanding areas in the game in a deliberate attempt to hit performance as hard as they can.
