Would like to see Syphon Filter return. It's strange they're starting on a new game before Days Gone has released.

I feel like there’s a lot of potential of what it could be. Maybe they’re doing a sequel to The Order lol

Yes, it seems very strange. Which is what makes me think this is related to Days Gone. I dont see the sense of them starting on a new AAA gmae while they are still working on DG. 

Wait ... BEND Studio made Syphon Filter? Why were they relegated to just being a PSP game creator? Then again ... going by VGC, their PSP side games sold more than any of the Syphon Filter games after 2? I guess they've always been a very underappreciated studio.

Also, when people said in the beginning of this year that rumors of new PS4 games would just be PS5 games by the time they released I was skeptical(I still think stuff like Death stranding or TLOU2 will be PS4) ... but now ... stuff like this? Definitely for PS5, lmao.

My theory is that Days Gone is done and ready for a fall release, but it's been pushed to February to give it some breathing room (which is a smart move, tbh). The reason why they announced the date so early was surely because they knew it wouldnt ever be delayed again.

Maybe certain parts are "done" and dont really require certain people working on it anymore, so why not put them to work on the next thing?
Like maybe the story stuff is done? why wouldnt you put that story writter to work on the next thing? just as a exsample.

I am convinced they will be working on the Uncharted series next.

Maybe they will scramble to get one out on the PS4 to gauge how well they can do. If they re-use the engine and assets from U4 and lost legacy, it should be doable in 2 years.
