This looks awesome. Can't wait for my copy of Evee. But this trailer really incites a feel of greatness, it looks so cool walking with your Pokemon or rifing big Pokemons. I really dig that.

Edit: Oh, and "friendly rival"? Boo! Pokemon is so much better with the dickhead rivals |
I can't unsee that now...It's not too bad and I can live with it, but you definitely have a point about the heads. Also Pikachu looks weird with a haircut like that. It makes sense for Eevee but Pikachu looks like a piece of plastic was welded onto him. Not to mention that particular hairstyle looks horrible on him.
Personally, with rivals, I'd like to have both types in the same game. I'd want to see a nice rival who's really more of a friend that you battle for the hell of it, but also helps you in the storyline, and a dickhead rival where the battles really feel like they count because you have to show that loser, and maybe he even helps the villain team like the little shit that he is, until you teach him a lesson.

Its the #1 complaint I read on the internet regarding Let's Go. Be nice not to read the belly aching anymore lol.
Another trailer was released in Japan. Jesse, James, and Meowth are in the game, and there are actual Pokemon battles against a wild Zapdos and a wild Moltres.
While it may rub some fans the wrong way, I think Let's Go was the right approach to take for the franchise's HD debut; make a nostalgic, casual-friendly entry to bring in new players while buying time for a full-fledged next gen Pokemon in 2019.

After seeing how it looks I can agree with that. I just hope the core game next year is much closer to what we'd expect.
