Wow, Mario Tennis is holding extremely well.Im really impressed!Its mnost likely far above 1 millon by now.

As for hardware, a bit dissapointing.PS4 continues its downward trajectory, and Sweitch is down this week too.

Dang! 50k for Switch is still too big for a baseline. Hopefully it can say 40k+ Whole PS4 stays below 20k

Next week should be up for the Switch. Perhaps 60k - 70k? Not sure if PS4 has anything next week. 

Switch is selling extremely well in Japan, and also Wow at Nintendo Labo Variety Kit, 200K only in Japan. Which are their numbers RoTW?

Zanzero is the only new release this week? No wonder the hardware goes slow. I'm impressed with Minecraft. This game is years old and released on a gazillion of platforms, still this Switch release does pretty well.

Nice little hold for Mario Tennis. Better than I thought.

Around or close to 50k would have been the baseline for me, but not this week. It at least is above 40k, which is the baseline everyone agrees on for now. Either way, they are on top. The ps4 keeps chugging along and but below 20k.

Here is the week 27 update in terms of the two big consoles in Japan's path to be able to reach the commonly stated (in these sales threads) estimates for 2018 sales (2 mil for PS4, 4 mil for Switch) .

TWS - This week's sales
GD - Goal differential, the difference between the average week needed from last week compared to this week's sales
YTD - Units sold in 2018 so far including this week's sales
AWN - Average weekly sales needed to reach the estimate for the console.

Welcome to the one million YTD club PS4. Both consoles are down with no big software releases this week. Next week should be huge for the Switch with both Octopath Traveler and Captain Toad releasing.

Next week will be interesting for Switch hardware, Octopath Traveler, Captain Toad, "new" Splatoon 2 bundle, new Splatoon 2 amiibo all on the 13th. Apparently that's when Smash and Pokemon pre-orders go live to but not 100% sure.

Anyway Mario Tennis Aces now over 200k in Japan, Minecraft over 100k at retail and Splatoon 2 nears a monstrous 2.5 million sales. No new Switch releases so a dip in hardware sales was expected, should be up next week.
