Next up..... before you get a job, they just want to snap a few pictures of you, and feed it to a A.I see what it thinks about your IQ, Sexual orientation and if your prone to crime.

This is scary.

Most idiots have the answers to these queries freely available on public area's of their Facebook and other social media accounts. Doesn't take an AI, just takes googling an applicants name.

Lol I just realized that if 10% of the population are gay, and the AI 100% of the time suggests that the pictures uploaded are straight then it would have a 90% accuracy rate.

Best AI ever.

If you have a group of 100 people with 10 gays in it and you just say everybody is straight, it would give 100% false statements for the gays.

I guess tech is good and all that but I don't see a real good point om having this.

They mention their reasoning of its importance. They cite an article that reports some world governments and corporations working on developing similar applications. What the researchers here were interested in, is if there are programs built to do this task, how much more accurate are they from human intuition? We can't stop governments, some of which as they cite punish such sexual orientation with death from making such things, but what we can do is inform the public about their potential use.

Womp womp

I wonder how long until I have this in my istore or playstore? Take a pic of someone and it tells you sexual orientation, IQ, propensity to criminal behavior, moral character etc.

Does it work on gay fish though?

only if they like fish sticks

It's not necessary to test if people are gay or not.

What's the point in even developing something like this?
